Excellent round trip of Ullswater - Excellent trip, staff were polite and helpful, toilets were very clean. Plenty of space even on a busy school holiday sunny day. Excellent way to see the fells. Plus you can get on and off and do some walking if that is your thing. If you are going to enjoy the water before or after, I would recommend starting and finishing at Glenridding.

A lovely experience - A lovely trip around this gorgeous lake. It is expensive at £99 for 4 adults and a dog, but worth it when you look at how lovely the boats are, and there are plenty of crew. Thank you to the crew member in the bar area who gave me a personal history tour! Date went: 29/07/25.

Excellent Experience - We went on the cruise on Thursday 24th July and enjoyed every minute of it. The pier at Pooley Bridge is easily accessible, getting tickets and boarding were achieved without any problem. The boat was clean and well maintained with plenty of seating. The views are magnificent and it is well worth the money. One of the great advantages is that you can get off at any of the stops for a walk and get the next boat as they run very frequently. We did this at Glenridding which enabled us to call at a local bar for a drink before catching a later boat. We can highly recommend the trip, I am sure you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful outing. - I chose a lovely, if cloudy day to do the two hour trip on Ullswater. I took the 9.45 a.m. trip from Pooley Bridge. Even though the boat was fairly full, it was comfortable. there were several dogs happily enjoying the trip too. The scenery was amazing … and watersports all along the lake beautiful. I received a huge surprise when we landed at Glenridding… that very day was the 70th anniversary of Donald Campbell’s speed record on the lake, and his famous Bluebird was there for all to see. It was an exciting addition to my trip. The boat itself was excellent and comfortable , and the staff were very friendly and happy. It was a wonderful outing , and when I would recommend to anyone.

Ferry not a tour - I booked this expecting a ‘talky tour’ but it is simply a ferry service. My error I’m sure, but just so you know! It was just short of 100.00 which felt pricey for what it was.
