Lots of Alligators to see! - Awesome day at Sawgrass Recreation Park. The staff was friendly and captain Disco was super knowledgeable. We went on an airboat ride last year with a different company and saw no alligators. Sawgrass delivered in full. Lots of alligators and big birds. Overall great experience with Sawgrass Recreation Park and would highly recommend.

A wonderful grand old time - We are here now. After leaving the state of New Jersey and coming to Florida it gives you a different type of appreciation. I am beginning to think that New Jersey is the armpit of America. What a shame.

Great visit even if the Thunderstorms threatened to spoil it! - Staff were brilliant we arrived just after a thunderstorm so we had to wait 30 mins before we could leave.
We went to the nature trail and a lot of staff were there talking about the animals and letting us hold some of the animals.
Once the storms had cleared we went out onto the water and got really close to alligators in their natural environment. Boat captain was informative and explained about the natural habitat of not only the alligators but other animals in the everglades.

Ride with captain Disco, Hooooooo, Yah! - The Captain was so great, he doesn't mist anything you want to see. The site is wonderfull and the crew is hospitable. We had an amazing visit.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour, get up close to the Gators! - Fantastic trip. We have done a previous airboat tour with a. Different company that seemed a bit artificial. This one was great, a free flowing tour around the Everglades at high speed then stopping to get closer when we found Gators and the very informative Captain taught us a lot

Amazing but not perfect. - This is a great location if you want to visit the everglades Theres alot to do, really good. The drive from fort lauderdale/Miami is great. But, there are some lack of animals but otherwise amazing.

Patronize a small business, it is worth it! - Very fun trip. The boat ride was nice, I wish it was a bit longer but great value for the money. I really enjoyed listening to one of the employees talk about the alligators in the exhibit section, he was very knowledgeable.

Not worth the trip - The airboat ride was a little boring - not much to see. Two alligators. We didnt even see too many birds. The exhibits were mostly empty and not veru interesting

Hope your experience is different - Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing.
I have done a few Airboat Tours over the years, and unfortunately, this was one of the tours that I found least interesting. Our tour guide, Capt. John, spent a large amount of time talking about birds. So, the first 15, maybe even 20, minutes of the tour was watching and looking for birds about 100 yards from the dock we started at.
I'm not sure if the boat was working properly, but at no time did I feel that my hat came close to flying off my head because we were going so slow. And the entire time, we saw one alligator, stuck in the mud, in the distance. I could understand if it was hard to find alligators, but nothing about this tour was interesting or even fun. And I'm usually pretty easygoing about this type of stuff because I understand it's nature, and the airboat company can't control nature. I was entice to write this review because I received a text from this company to "share your pics on our social media," which made me realize, I have NO PICTURES to share. Disappointing to say the least.
I mentioned a slow airboat because the other airboats took off into the Everglades and at much faster pace than we did. They also came back excited, we did not.
