The Passenger Bobsleigh Experience is a must-try adventure for your bucket list! No prior experience is necessary. After a brief orientation, climb into a 4-person bobsled, expertly guided by a trained pilot, and enjoy an exhilarating ride down the world’s fastest sliding track. You and your team will navigate through 10 thrilling twists and turns at speeds exceeding 125 km/hr, experiencing acceleration of up to 4 g-forces. The Whistler Sliding Centre is the only location in Canada where the public can experience bobsleigh and slide like an Olympian.
Passenger Bobsleigh operates in all weather conditions, making it a perfect addition to your Whistler itinerary, come rain, snow, or shine.

Participants must be over 14 years old, weigh between 90 lb (41 kg) and 285 lb (129 kg), and be between 4’6” (137 cm) and 6’8” (203 cm) in height.

Your thrilling Passenger Bobsleigh Journey commences with an introduction about your upcoming ride and manners on the track. Next, you’ll be transported to the starting point where a helmet will be fitted for you. You will be introduced to your pilot, and with the help of the track staff, you’ll be secured in the sled and undergo the final safety verifications. Hear the grand announcer call out your team’s names over the massive speakers! Upon receiving the green signal from the control tower, the track crew will give your sled a nudge, and you, your pilot, and two other participants commence your ride! As you pick up speed down the track, lean into the turns to aid your pilot in achieving peak speeds exceeding 125 km/hr in the ultimate turn. The uphill tail run will gradually bring you to a halt at the finishing dock, where the track personnel will help you step out of the sled. Celebrate with your team with a high five and get in line for your souvenir photograph. Congratulations, you have conquered the world’s fastest track!
