• King Arthur’s Cave - King Arthur’s Wye Valley Walk is a 13km day walk with 300m of ascent. The route includes some rough, muddy, and uneven terrain but primarily follows good footpaths and tracks, making it accessible to most, though some may feel quite tired by the end of the day.

This walk, designed by Wales Outdoors, showcases the highlights and lesser-known paths. You’ll explore King Arthur’s Cave, Symmonds Yat, Biblin’s Wibbly Wobbly Bridge, an Iron Age hill fort believed to be King Vortigen’s last camp, and the magnificent River Wye.

The owner of Wales Outdoors has intricately planned this hike to cover the spectacular sights of the Wye Valley within the area of Symmonds Yat.

The journey commences from the charming village store, which regularly presents us with marvelous attractions, like the viewpoint from Symmonds Yat Rock, which offers an almost surreal view of the Huntsham Oxbow. Primarily, the woodland is exclusive to us, as we engage on paths less travelled.

This day is tactfully organized, offering abundant intrigue for both the youthful and those young at heart :)
