Fantastic experience with Northern Lights - It was a great travel experience, I highly recommend this agency to do the aurora hunting tour. You have to be prepared to see them and not see them. I loved that they have guides who speak Spanish and are super friendly. Live the experience and better hire the photos with them because it is a unique moment.

Great way to see the lights away from the city hustle & bustle - We very much enjoyed this tour. The guide (I forget her name, but she was from Germany) was excellent and super helpful, consistently advising us when the lights were making an appearance (as we largely huddled inside due to the cold). There was ample hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. and snacks, in multiple buildings. We were fortunate that the sky cleared after a very snowy day. Definitely recommend!

Safety first but make sure you have fun! - Since you start booking online and dont expect much the staffs are very helpful. Then you get pick up on time in your hotel for the night viewing. The guides are very informative to inform how many participants and what to expect. Safety of each participants are most important by the guide, due to high temperature one of the bus windshield got frozen and we have a back up car behind that we switch over - they are well prepared! They provide you blanket to keep warm on -42 temperature. Orientation was provided for first timer like me to show the safety path, bathroom, cabin and even how to warm yourself! Shijiro is expert in the northern lights and makes you excited to keep coming out of cabin to chase more of the aurora. He teaches you the technique of taking photos with your iphone and when your phone suddenly died due to the extreme coldness he help you to take pictures. I had bad experience booking with different company that cancelled my trip as they said unsave, and was actually not wanting to book a big group company to get more of the experience. But i get more than what i was expecting from Artic Range Adventures! Shame i only found them on my last day so could not experience other activity with them. Thank you for making my birthday trip amazing and was able safely see the northern lights. What an amazing night!

Once-in-a-lifetime experience! - Mother Nature and our guides cooperated in delivering a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Truly unbelievable! A calm and clear night with an extraordinary display of northern lights or aurora borealis. The team were kind, professional and fully engaged - they were as excited by what we witnessed as we were. We enjoyed the cabin, refreshments, the fire and especially the dancing sky. They also dropped us off at our respective hotels on return to Whitehorse. A 10/10 rating does not do the evening justice! Thank you!

Bucket list experience - First time visiting Yukon and first time seeing the Aurora Borealis. It was an amazing experience! Sho and Maria were both very friendly and welcoming. The Aurora Centre has a lovely setting with a cozy teppe and a bonfire. The lights were bright and very active during our visit.

Disappointing tour to see Northern Lights Whitehorse - Our tour guide was very difficult to understand. Her Japanese accent was particularly strong. Although she was reasonable passionate about Northern Lights she lacked the communication skills to engage those on the tour and have any lengthy conversations. The drive out to campsite took 50 minutes and we barely had 10 minutes discussion about what was going to happen or interaction with the guests The fire in the teepee with the marshmallows was good but the tour guide was not there and many of the other travelers did not venture out to it. There was tea, coffee and biscuits available at the main cabin and a slide show of an explanation about the Northern. lights which lasted for about 20 minutes. The viewing platform was good but people kept moving in front of the cabin and the flood lights would continuously come on and off - frustrating when searching for weak Northern Lights as we were on that evening as it is very early in the season. We did not see any Northern Lights that night and packed up and left the campsite about half an hour earlier than originally anticipated for some unknown reason. Absolutely no verbal discussion on the 50minute drive back to Whitehorse from campsite. Personally I think the tour operated should not have offered these tours so early in the season. Cannot recommend this tour with the same tour guide.
