Exciting afternoon on the water - This tour is a definite must do when in Whitianga. I had wanted to do a Cathedral Cove and coastline tour for years but never got around to it. Lucky for me I got the last seat on Justin's afternoon cruise. This was my first time seeing our coastline from the other side, i.e. from the water. What a magnificent coastline we have and I highly recommend spending the 2.5 hours cruising the beaches and seeing the cliff faces, rock formations and unknown caves that you would never find otherwise. Definitely a highlight of my stay in Whitianga. Justin was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable of the geological and historical facts relating to the area. The boat was very comfortable, clean and super quick.

Cathedral Cove Ocean Leopard boat tour - Excellent tour. Has to be the best way to see Cathedral Cove and the surrounding coastline. Justin was an excellent captain - friendly, knowledgeable, and very skilled. The purpose built boat was comfortable, quick, manoeuvrable, and Justin ensured everyone had ample opportunities to take photos and see every point of interest. Can’t recommend it enough. Rp

Great boat trip from Whitianga to Cathedral Cave and more! - Excellent trip, skipper Justin very knowledgable and friendly. Being local he knew the area very well and took us to wonderful features round the bay. Amazing how close he could take the boat and you felt very safe. Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Best Coromandel Peninsula Cruise.! - Do not hesitate to book this 2 hour cruise, we had a fabulous time with Justine, who was the most thoughtful host for our tour. He’s takes time to share his knowledge of the coast line to every person on the boat & is really invested in ensuring everyone gets fabulous views & the opportunity to take photos - a truly lovely day .! Great experience - We had a great time onboard the boat. The captain of the boat was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was an awesome experience to see parts of the coastline that you wouldn’t be able to see any other way. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour. From Peter & Justine

Fun and informative short tour! - Sam was a fantastic skipper and tour guide. She was safe while providing everyone with a great experience. The route was perfect and the length of the journey was perfect. Definitely recommend Ocean Leopard Tours.

Ocean Leopard cathedral cove trip - Fantastic trip out today on the Ocean Leopard with Justin. The trip couldn’t have been any better. Justin was really knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure everyone had great views and able to take all the photos that they wanted. The views were amazing. A really memorable day.

Very informative around... - Very informative around the geology of the cliffs and surrounding areas. Did not feel rushed at all. Loved the cave, and the knowledge that it is about the Australasian Tectonic plate. The captain and commentator was very relaxed, knowledgeable and capable. It all felt safe. Really enjoyed this excursion.
