Fantastic Tour! - The tour guide - Patrick and bus driver - Eddie- were both funny and knowledgeable. The entire way there and back on the bus, they told stories and gave a history of the island. Even if we hadn’t seen the beautiful flamingos, gorgeous clear blue water beach, unusually friendly turtle, and received incredible pictures and videos of the turtle swim, direct to our phones, the trip would have been worth it just for that. A few things to note - 1- bring some cash. You need to pay to use the bathroom at the beach (I think it’s just a dollar, but you have to find some man to open it). Also at the beach, the chairs and umbrella cost $15, and we didn’t see any sign or know that until two men came to collect. 2- Something bit a couple of people in the group, which was a bit concerning, though they seemed fine afterward - Someone said it was plankton from jelly fish or something. 4-They provide plenty of water on the bus for anyone who wants, and there are a few concession stands for food/drink. 5-Bring towels, sunscreen, and water shoes if possible. 6-There is a small changing area on the roof if you want to change before or after swimming with the turtles. All in all, a great day

Enjoy! - Fun Excursion! 999780923 Great driver, lots of information. Swimming with the turtles was amazing, and the photos so much fun to have! The beach stop was great, the water so many shades of blue and the beach so white. Only thing to watch, try for a weekday. Weekends at the beaches are packed. Fun excursion!

Turtle Swim for the Win! - We had Patrick and Sexy Eddie. Both shared a wealth of information about the Island and it's history all throughout the tour. Having the in water pictures of swimming with the turtles, for us, is the big highlight of this experience. At Grote Knip a lounger is $5 and if you'd like to use the restroom facilities or rinse off each will cost $1. We were mostly in the water so in hindsight probably shouldn't have rented $15 in loungers that we sat in for a matter of minutes. There's no place that we saw to change after the turtle swim so bring along a sweatshirt or something similar to keep you comfortable on the bus ride back with the AC on. Strongly recommend water shoes as well as the entrance at both beaches is initially very rocky. Water and soda are provided on the bus. Both stops had some vendors and concessions. Didn't feel like the 10 minute viewing of the flamingos from afar was necessary; having more time at each beach would've been preferred. Lastly, pictures lead us to believe there are turtles galore but in reality Patrick was able to entice one to hang with our group and a second just occasionally came around. In the entire area there doesn't seem to be more than a half dozen of them at the moment.

Snorkeling with the... - Snorkeling with the turtles was a little stressful. People were not instructed to keep their legs still and it was very crowded. We felt bad for the turtles. Snorkeling on our own at Grote Knip was the best. We saw cuddle fish and live corals. Vehicle was very nice.

Don’t support this practice - Patrick actually left our tour for over an hour to go do another private photo shoot of another group. Wildly unprofessional and robbing us his time we were paying for. We had Eddie, but I think they changed the order of the usual tour to accommodate his private booking. Because of this, we spent more time at Grote Knip and less time at the turtle beach. That was actually a benefit, though: Grote Knip was gorgeous and the turtle beach was teeming with Jellyfish. We got out of the water after 2 minutes because we kept getting stung. Finally- Patrick continuously feeds the turtles to keep them around. This is a terrible practice and should be banned; he’s ruining their natural instincts. Wish we wouldn’t have gone on this trip and supported that.
