Dive into Adventure: Exploring the Depths of Willemstad
Father’s Day weekend in Willemstad offers the perfect opportunity to dive into the vibrant underwater world of Curaçao. Start your day with a thrilling underwater adventure at Pierbaai Reef and Car Pile. The Curacao 2-Tank Dive is available from 8:45 AM to 12:45 PM on both June 14th and 15th, making it an ideal morning activity. This dive is perfect for both beginners and experienced divers, offering a chance to explore the shallow, protected sandy bay and gently sloping reef. The Dive Bus team ensures a safe and enjoyable experience, as echoed by a recent review:
Diving with the crew at Dive Bus was truly a pleasure. During our week in Curacao, we did 5 days of two tank Dives with them at their house reef and 4 other beaches around Curacao. We also completed the Peak Performance buoyancy course. Their Dive Masters and instructors were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and provided a safe dive experience. I look forward to going back to Curacao and diving with them again. Everyone at the office was great to work with and our instructors/dive masters Tom, Colin, Bill and Kelly were amazing.
With the weather forecast predicting a mix of rain and partial cloudiness, the morning dive is a great way to start your day before the skies clear up in the afternoon.

The course includes four open water dives and confined water skills practice in the bay right in front of the dive shop. The theoretical part can be completed through E-Learning, making it convenient for those who want to maximize their time exploring the island.
The Blue Bay Dive team is known for their excellent instruction and support, as highlighted in a recent review:
PADI certified at Blue Bay - Fantastic experience at Blue Bay Resort - Decided while on vacation to take my open water diver certification. Staff was extremely helpful and the process well.. Enrolled, studied the intuitive online study guide and was able to pass the test with plenty of time to take my open water dives. Instructor Lorenzo was fantastic. 10 yrs experience paid off as he was patient, thorough and explained all the drills and techniques. He was great. Passed the class and have already been on two recreational dives with friends. Felt safe, prepared and had great dives. Highly recommend the Dive Team at Blue Bay resort!
With the warm temperatures and high humidity, diving is a refreshing way to spend the day, and the high UV index means you’ll want to take advantage of the cooler underwater environment.
