Overwhelming - In the past, I have been snorkelling a lot. So when I saw the DSD-sign in the Coral Divers shop in Coral Estate Luxury Resort in Curaçao while I was staying there for one night, I thought why not come back for a couple of days and try it. So I did and what I then experienced was an unforgettable thrilling happening. Shaneil my instructor gave me a very warm welcome and then provided me with the necessary information and instructions. First, we did the exercises we had discussed in shallow water. And then we were off. We swam out to the reef and began to dive slowly and continuously. Shaneil was always close by and I felt very safe at all times. What I saw in the following 40 minutes was simply overwhelming and of very impressive beauty. Unfortunately, the 40 minutes diving in the beautiful Carribean Sea passed far too quickly. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Coral Divers Curaçao and Shaneil for such an impressive experience. I hope that I will have the opportunity to enjoy more diving experiences in the future with Coral Divers Curaçao. In the meantime, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Very nice diving school, with good and experienced instructors. I would recommend it to anyone! - I passed my PADI Open Water Diver course at Coral Divers. A fantastic experience and had very nice one on one guidance. The place is very nice and you can dive quietly from the beach towards the reef. The first day I dived with Shani and the second day I was diving with Jeff. They explained everything very calmly, so I learned to dive comfortably and at my own pace. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to dive here or learn!

Twice as much fun as expected! - Twice as much fun as expected! You start with an online training in advance, then go through the theory again on the spot. After changing and putting on the diving equipment in shallow water do diversion exercises. Shanie explains this very calmly and knows how to give you confidence. Our first diving experience with Shanie at Coral Divers was great and definitely worth repeating.

Great PADI open water course - Did a PADI open water course with my two teens. Very flexible, friendly and comforting instructors. Would definitely recommend.

From Panic to Shark Whisperer – Thanks to Bridget! - I came to Coral Divers with one goal: try scuba diving without completely embarrassing myself. I left with a new addiction to the ocean, a minor crush on my dive instructor, and a story involving a shark named Bruce. Enter Bridget the Scuba Queen—part mermaid, part marine biologist, part unflappable ocean goddess. She led my intro dive like it was a Netflix special: informative, hilarious, and wildly entertaining. Her briefings were clear, calming, and full of lines like “don’t worry, the fish are more scared of your fins than you are of theirs.” Things were going great until halfway through the dive when—surprise!—a shark appeared. Now, I did what any rational person would do: flailed slightly and reconsidered every life decision that led me here. Bridget, meanwhile, floated like royalty, waved at the shark (casually!) and signaled, “It’s fine.” She even introduced him as Bruce, like we were at an underwater cocktail party. Long story short: no one was eaten, I fell in love with diving, and I’m pretty sure Bridget could talk a great white into hugging it out. Would I dive again with Coral Divers? ✅ Yes. Would I follow Bridget into the open ocean again? ✅ Absolutely. Should you do your first dive with her? ✅ Only if you like surviving, laughing, and being in the presence of greatness. Pro tip: bring snacks for after the dive. You’ll need them—you’ll be too busy freaking out (in a good way) to eat before.

Knowledgeable and Friendly - Highly recommended experience. The guide Shanni was very Knowledgeable and Friendly. She provided a cozy and safe atmosphere! Absolutely a good experience- would dive again.

APADI Dive - Coral Eststes - Thomas was a great instructor, and he made the basics easy to learn and execute. He was great when I needed a minute or two to calm down during the pre-dive check.

Coral Bay Certification - Location was great and easy to get to. Staff was nice and friendly. Instruction was good. Communication beforehand was spotty and confusing. It required quite a bit of back and forth emails, generated by me, to get any details. It would have been nice if they had an upfront details sheet instead of me digging for information.
