Great start to our trip! - Our private tour with Cyndi was wonderful and informative. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Williamsburg. She catered parts of the tour to things we were interested in seeing. One being the Masonic Lodge for my husband. I highly recommend her.

A glimpse to US revoutionary history - Cyndi was a superb guide for my wife and daughter relatively novice to US revolutionary history She provided a great overview as well as interesting details of key personalities. She answered all questions and demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the period. A must do for your first visit Thanks Cyndi for making an unforgettable day even with 98 degree temperature! Darwin

Cyndi is Ya girl for all you ever wanted to know about Williamsburg and were afraid to ask. - We bumped into Cyndi in a Williamsburg car park early one morning and asked her for help with the local parking app. Well, we got so much more than we bargained for! After helping us sort the car park out—caused by our UK mobile phones, LOL—Cyndi explained she was the best home-grown walking tour guide in all of Williamsburg. So we were delighted to put her to the test on 4th July 2025, the town's most significant celebration all year. We were not disappointed. It was like walking the cobbles with an old friend we had known for years, who also just happens to know every tiny detail of history linked to Williamsburg from 1607 to the present day, not forgetting the heated period from 1775 to 1782. We had a blast and only parted company due to a meal booking we had previously planned. If you need a fine lady in the know, then Cyndi is Ya girl!

Cyndi hosted a private... - Cyndi hosted a private walking tour for my daughter and I- we were in town to visit William and Mary for a college tour. My daughter had been to Williamsburg before I had not. We didn’t have a ton of time in town. Rather than purchasing tickets, we purchased this tour with Cyndi. What a great choice! Cyndi was extremely knowledgeable and it had pictures and other artifacts, such as spun wool, to argument our experience. Cyndi knew various people around town and invited them to participate in our tour. For example, the bellman at the Williamsburg Inn shared some really great stories about when Queen Elizabeth II visited in 2007. Cyndi was able to answer all of my curious kid’s questions. This tour does not go into buildings so a Ticket to Colonial Williamsburg is not needed. I would recommend this tour as a preview for a one day Williamsburg visit or as a way to efficiently get an overview of Williamsburg if you are short on time.
