• Fighter World - Situated just a 20-minute drive north of Newcastle in the stunning Port Stephens area, Fighter World offers an entirely interactive experience. Visitors can get up close to some of Australia’s most iconic aircraft and even have the opportunity to sit in the cockpits of an actual Mirage jet fighter and a Macchi jet trainer. The exhibit features 13 historic aircraft and replicas, along with numerous artifacts dating back to the First World War. The two F/A-18 Hornet simulators are cutting-edge, and reservations must be made separately by calling 02 4965 1810.

Inside the main hangar, guests will also find the Norm Forrester Collection, one of Australia’s finest displays of hand-crafted model aircraft. A wide range of weapons, radars, and ejection seats enhances the experience, providing insights into these incredible machines that are typically unavailable to the general public.
