We took my husband there for his birthday, and booked him into a flight simulator, which was fantastic. Staff AAA+ - Seeing the planes up close was incredible, and the staff were so knowledgeable. Just seeing and reading some of the memorabilia was so very interesting. Highly recommend a visit.

A good day out - I'm not a massive aviation fan, I'm more of a ship and boat man, but I have to admit, I found this museum really interesting. It is situated right next to the runway of the local airport and Airbase, we were lucky enough to go early in the morning and the fighters from the Airbase were up on training flights, so we saw them land and take off literally a few yards away. The exhibits themselves were amazing, and I had the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of one of the planes. Again, the staff and volunteers were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and this is another place I would recommend a visit to.

Great we place to stop and visit . - Neat place to visit if you enjoy fighter jets. Small museum but but worth a visit to get up close with a F1-11 or Hornet and other fighters . $19 per adult . There is a balcony upstairs that looks over the Newcastle airport and if you are lucky enough like us, we saw the F-35, Hawke, Poseidon take off and land !! Nice cafe also next door and not overpriced with indoor and outdoor seating . .
