- Emerald Cove - Participants will kayak along the Colorado River starting from Willow Beach, passing the fish hatchery, and pausing at the Historic Gaugers Station. Here, they will embark on a brief five to ten-minute hike to a stunning viewpoint of the original site plan for the Hoover Dam. Stops can be made at Emerald Cove or Emerald Cave, or both, based on preference.
- Willow Beach - The meeting point is at Willow Beach near the dirt kayak launch. All essential training and safety protocols will be covered, and life-jackets will be provided. The adventure will then commence towards the Gaugers Station hike and the Emerald Cove/Emerald Cave.
- Colorado River - The kayaking journey will lead to the Gaugers Station, Emerald Cove, and Emerald Cave, with a visit to the Willow Beach Fish Hatchery. There is also an option to stop at the Geo Shack and “Adventure Cove.”

The Emerald Cave Kayaking Tour from Las Vegas, a half-day excursion, is considered one of the world’s best (and certainly most scenic) half-day trips. What sets the Emerald Cave Kayaking Tour apart is the emphasis on being present and cherishing the moment. Professional guides and content creators accompany each trip to document the experience.
Participants will enjoy a brief hike to the Gaugers’ house, where they can take in a stunning view of the Colorado River for a group photo.
The tour includes kayaking inside the Emerald Cave and Emerald Cove.
An Adventure Child Wilderness and First Aid certified guide will meet participants at “Willow Beach Marina,” located approximately 45 minutes from Las Vegas.
It is recommended to bring at least 2 liters of water per person for safety.
Ice water and snacks will be provided.
- We will cover all necessary training. Kayak up to Emerald Cove. Spend time taking pictures in the cove. We can stop and take iconic pictures along the way.
