Incredible Experience! - During our girls trip to Vegas one of our friends decided we needed more of a challenge so booked paddle boarding on the Colorado River. One of the guides, Reid picked us up at the hotel and it was about an hours drive to the River. I was nervous as I’d never done it before but the guys put totally at ease, there were only 3 of us paddle boarding so we had another guide, Matthew, to ourselves which was great as I had no clue what to expect. He was so patient with us and clearly an expert. What I didn’t expect was all the info the guys gave us about the area and the animals, it was like a guided tour of the region, fantastic. So friendly as well. I learnt so much. They gave us water and snacks and we took photos at breaks. Reid kindly let us put our stuff in his Kayak so we had cameras and suncream for our Delicate British skin lol Reid really made us laugh and told us so much about Old LV and Boulder City and all the wildlife during the car ride. Also enjoyed talking to him about his love of British food and “Soccer” Come on You Spurs! Would definitely recommend you do this, if you are worried about fitness and aren’t confident then do Kayaking but you don’t need to be super fit to paddle board and I loved being so close to the water. I’m not that fit and I managed it, felt like such an achievement! Amazing day and will always be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Thanks so much RiverDogz! Vicki, K and Joanne

A great day. - The water was bathtub calm and you could see right to the bottom. The paddle boarding was easy enough for a beginner or novice. They offered pickup and drop off at my hotel. The staff was excellent. Very professional and did everything possible to make the trip easy and fun. The scenery is breathtaking. I would definitely do this again.

Awesome Experience - stop thinking, DO IT !!! - Matthew was an EXCEPTIONAL guide and instructor!!! He got me standing, paddling and cruising down the river in a flash - first time ever on a paddle board and best of all, NO falls. This was an exhilarating day!!! Bonus - beautiful photos & no body aches the next day (I'm a 57 y/o mom) Matthew sent me off with clear instructions then allowed me to feel the strokes, the board on the water and make whatever adjustments I needed to get myself gliding. He's a super chill guy who seems to enjoy meeting people and making sure they enjoy their time on the water. Initially I was a little apprehensive not wanting to embarrass myself or thinking paddle boarding would be too difficult. However once I made the decision to sign up, I was super excited for this day to arrive. Matthew made sure I would enjoy this experience!!! (Please, if you're high maintenance, don't do this activity. You will get wet, you will have people in front of you and behind you. Expect to see other activities on the water. And, whatever is served for lunch, .......... say thank you & eat it.)

Unreal scenery, extensive paddling required - Would wholeheartedly recommend this adventure for the incredible scenery and the gift of experiencing the definition of unspoilt natural beauty - just stunning. The drive takes a while (around an hour, I was collected from The Luxor) and feels longer on the return when you're knackered! Personally I wouldn't advise this one for first time paddle boarders - the route is easy enough especially if you get a still day but it's a considerable distance (approx 5.5 miles). That felt like a challenge for me having done SUP quite a bit and I'm glad I wasn't trying to learn at the same time - the beautiful setting deserves our full attention! Matthew provided a nice lunch and plenty of water/snacks. Only criticism is that venturing out by myself I didn't like being collected in an unmarked van and being emailed to say they would have to leave soon when I was already stood there waiting. Matthew explained the magnet signage had recently been blown off in high winds.
