Henry VIII owned over 60 houses, but none were more significant to him, nor more lavishly decorated, than Hampton Court Palace. Today, visitors can explore Henry’s Apartments, admire his beautifully recreated Imperial Crown in the Royal Pew, and venture below stairs to visit his extensive Tudor Kitchens, where 200 cooks, sergeants, grooms, and pages worked to prepare over 800 meals daily for the large household.
