The Chain of Lakes features 20 interconnected lakes linked by canals. Visitors can enjoy seven restaurants offering clean restrooms and a wide selection of food and beverages. Legoland Florida is also part of the Chain, and occasionally, a free waterski show can be viewed from the boat, depending on the schedule. The area is renowned for its natural beauty and diverse wildlife, making it perfect for photography. Wildlife sightings may include otters, cormorants, anhingas, alligators, bald eagles, ospreys, turtles, and many other species. The swimming areas are exceptionally clean and safe, with fresh water that is popular among locals. All captains are well-versed in local history and hidden gems, sharing fascinating stories of celebrities like Elvis, Burt Reynolds, Marilyn Monroe, and Esther Williams who have waterskied on these lakes. The Chain of Lakes is rich in history, beauty, and nature.
