During your visit to Cogges Manor Farm, you will be guided through the delightful farmhouse, learning about this remarkable community-owned property. You’ll also meet some of the animals, including the Sandy and Black Pigs, which have an intriguing connection to a former Prime Minister.
• Asthall - After departing Cogges Manor Farm, the tour continues to the picturesque village of Asthall, the childhood home of the renowned and notorious Mitford sisters. Here, you will discover how these sisters became some of the most prominent figures in 20th-century Britain and their connections to Hitler and The Dukes of Devonshire.

Asthall also boasts St Nicholas Church, a magnificent building featuring a local clock and some faded, pre-reformation murals.

• Shilton - This charming village features a forded river, centuries-old cottages, and a historic pub. It’s a fantastic spot for photos and is one of the most beautiful villages we have ever visited, and we are confident you will agree.
• Bampton - The final stop on the tour is the remarkable filming location of Bampton village. Bampton is renowned for being the filming site for Downton village in all six series and the Downton Abbey feature film. While here, your guide will share insights about the filming, provide opportunities for photos outside iconic buildings, and, if they are feeling sociable, introduce you to some local residents who cherish the TV show as much as they love welcoming visitors to their beautiful village. You will also have the chance to explore the stunning 12th-century church at the heart of the village. Your guide will explain the church’s history, its survival through the 16th-century reformation, and why a crusader knight is buried here.
