Excellent - This is a relaxing cruise around lake Wanaka. Don't expect lots of food, just nibbles..a pre cursor to eating in Wanakas bars and restaurants.

A short cruise - This is more like a booze cruise. You just get your drinks, cheese and biscuits and chat to people. There is no talk from the skipper about what you can see etc

Overall, a fantastic experience with great staff and views, but the food and inclusions could be improved - We had a great experience with the team—they were knowledgeable, engaging, and made the trip really enjoyable. The views were great and the kids loved asking so many questions! However, we were a little disappointed with the wine and cheese offering. For the number of people onboard, the selection felt quite limited. The apricots were chopped very finely, and we don’t recall seeing any grapes., unless these were what was chopped up. Given the price we paid, we had expected to receive our own cheese board as a family of four rather than sharing with other passengers. The inclusions listed mention snacks and cheese boards for nibbles, which suggested they were part of the package. However, these were actually an additional cost. Even something simple like a small bag of chips for the kids would have been a nice touch. Overall, a fantastic experience with great staff and breathtaking views, but the food and inclusions could be improved for better value.

Highly recommend - It was very relaxing the drinks and food were nice the first mate you served us was very attentive. The skipper Reon was very bubbly and welcoming. We would have given this experience 5 stars if there was some commentary regarding the surroundings.

The cruise and staff were... - The cruise and staff were nice and it was a relaxing way to end our day. The cheese boards were served community style rather than one per group, which is what we were expecting. Any cheese boards in open areas lost most of their crackers to the wind when the boat started moving.

Champagne lake cruise - Nice boat, amazing lake to tour around and good to talk to some other people over a drink. Only issue was that although it was just a drink cruise they could have made a couple of announcements about the locations around the lake we actually visited.

New Zealand Great Discovery 2025 with Titan Tours - A poor experience. The Wanaka Lake Cruise skipper and his second mate (Cam) were not exactly short of unwelcomed sarcasm upon our arrival, which I felt was aimed at our group of fifteen, because we were all from the United Kingdom, and that the cruise had already been paid for thought the holiday booking. I doubt the sarcasm would have been present otherwise. The cheese boards consisted of some grapes and crackers with either blue or brie cheese (not everyone likes blue). Skippers mate gave a short information commentary reading from a script via his mobile phone - no acquired local knowledge of his own. At the end of the 1-hour lake cruise, we departed the vessel with no words from either the skipper or his second mate. Very disappointed - I would not recommend this 'amature' experience to anyone - 'saw us coming.'

Hojo - Boat was absolutely packed. People hogged best spots and didn't move, so we had no place to sit where there was a view. Food also placed on tables whre people were sitting it was difficult to get to. Should have done 2 runs, with about half the amount of people in each. Would have been much much better that way.

Lake wanada cruises reviews - Not recommended for me. As much as the experience announced was tempting, the experience is not at all up to scratch. More passengers than seats, music at the bottom of the nightclub at odds with the natural atmosphere of the setting, tasting of banal wines and bonus a totally unpleasant bartender. It's up to you...
