Excellent tour with a professional and friendly host. - Fantastic day with the very friendly and well-informed Michelle visiting smaller and less visited wineries around the Central Otago region from Wanaka on the Hidden Gems tour. Would definitely recommend as a good introduction to Central Otago wines which you may not come across regularly.

Fantastic way to wrap up 2025! - We enjoyed a terrific day with Michelle! We were picked up from the Holiday Park campground. We talked, we laughed, we learned about Central Otego and we drank wine! Michelle is super easy to chat with, and we really enjoyed our day with her. She brought us to wineries we would not have found on our own. We weren't rushed from one winery to the next, and we weren't pressured to purchase any wine (although we did). This was a FIVE STAR day for certain.

Awesome Day Experiencing Otago Wines - Michelle’s wine tour is well worth doing. You are picked up in the morning from your hotel / air bnb in a comfortable van. You visit 5 wineries tasting 4 wines in each. There is a small lunch plate of cheese and ham etc provided at the 3rd stop. You get to drink a lot of wine. Michelle even has a cool box in the van if you want to purchase wines. Tour is highly recommended

Best Wine Tour in Wanaka without a doubt! - I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Michelle is totally amazing. Not only is she really knowledgeable but she is such fun as well. We had a fabulous time, and if we had been staying in Wanaka longer, I think we would have gone again!

Amazing Experience - We had an absolutely unforgettable experience! Recently, my partner Mary and I, along with another couple—our good friends Wayne and Cristine—joined a wine tour led by the amazing Michelle. Michelle’s passion and deep knowledge about both wine and the Central Otago region made every stop fascinating, and her warmth kept the atmosphere fun and relaxed throughout. Our group visited several fantastic spots: Te Kano, Dicey, The Cork and Cap, The Brae, and Maude, each with its own unique vibe and story. The wines themselves were simply outstanding; even with our high expectations, every pour was a delight.
A special highlight for us was at Te Kano, where Wayne (a former chef) actually swapped some of his homemade jerky with the team and tried some of their version—which, by the way, was amazing! The weather was picture-perfect and the incredible Otago scenery made everything even more enjoyable.
A huge thanks also goes to the staff at every winery. Mary isn’t the biggest wine fan, but everyone went out of their way to offer alternatives and thoughtful recommendations. (I have to admit, I seized the chance to enjoy an extra glass or two myself!) If you’re searching for a lively, insightful, and truly memorable wine experience in Central Otago, this tour is an absolute must. Thank you, Michelle and everyone involved, for such a wonderful day shared with friends.

A perfect day! - The most perfect day. My husband and I booked this tour as part of our honeymoon trip and had the most amazing day, our favourite of the trip.
Michelle was a fantastic tour guide. She has lived in the area for 20 years and was so knowledgable about wine and the different wineries.
She took us to 5 beautiful wineries, even changing the last one she had planned based on what we were enjoying throughout the day. It was clear she has a good relationship with all of wineries and they were all fantastic, super friendly and happy to talk through the wines.
Can’t recommend this tour enough, we stayed in Wanaka specifically for this and are so glad we did!

This was an awesome decision! - We booked this tour last minute as we decided to stay for an additional day in Wanaka, and it couldn’t have been a better decision.
Michelle, our lovely tour guide, was super cool (and friendly). We talked for most of the trip, both with her giving us the ins and outs of the area and its “wine facts” as well as just friendly rambling getting to know each other along the way.
Michelle took us to 5 different wineries, where we got received by the different owners/employees, who were all also super friendly and spent quite a considerable time with us telling us about the location, the winery, and the wines we got served.
Couldn’t recommend Michelle and her tours more, and as an additional bonus we got Michelle “to ourselves” as we were the only booked spots for that day (and she still took us!)
Oh and the wine were great too!
