Departing at High Speed Rail Taichung Station, Exit 4 (meeting point 7.) we will be heading to Chukka first. Next, we will arrive in Alishan, where you can explore the forest with those ancient trees that have lived on for more than a thousand year. Further more, immerse yourself in the phytoncidin while walking on the mysterious trails and relax from the daily stress. Last but not least, Alishan is rich of cultural heritage for indigenous tribes whose traditions and customs are still celebrated today.
- The total duration includes the traffic time from places to places.
- Latecomers or No-Show will not be refunded, and changes made within 24 hours may not be accepted.
- The experience requires minimum of 6 travelers. If there are less than six people, a cancellation notice may be issued.
- According to Taiwan law, children under the age of 4 must use an infant car seat. Please let us know in advance if you need one, and we will prepare it for you. An additional charge of 300 NTD may apply for an infant seat.

Great tour - Great tour and guide. I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants a 1-day tour from Taichung. Very reasonably priced.

Must do in Taichung! - Great tour - well organised and I highly recommend it. Our tour guide Alicia was fantastic - spoke in English and explained everything very well. She even organised a vegetarian lunch for NTD 120! Bus ride is long and the hike is for two hours (easy) so be prepared!

Beautiful views in Alishan! - Thank you to Stella (Miss Chen Chen Hyun) for the professional and attentive care of our family at "Aly Mountain Day Tour", and both Mom and Dad (over 75 years old) had a great time.
The trip was rich and smooth throughout the day, and we appreciated many beautiful views. Stella drives safely and stably, the trunk is clean and comfortable, Stella also carefully observes the needs of the elderly, flexibly adjusts the journey, and for us to take many beautiful photos, let us bring valuable and good memories home. Thank you Stella!

Immersive mountain forest experience - An immersive experience of a magnificent mountain forest. Well planned in that the walking was all downhill! We didn’t realise we couldn’t use a stroller, so this was an ambitious tour to do with a toddler (15 months). A backpack would have been better than carrying and walking with her. Our guide Cook was patient and good humoured and did his best to make our experience enjoyable and memorable.

Fantastic trip and well taken care of - I love every aspect of the trip. From pre-trip information, transportation and explanation till the end everything was excellent. Enough time was provided for sightseeing and shopping. Guide Alicia was knowledgeable, cheerful and professional. I highly recommend this tour. Although the hike was easy, quite some long staircases were involved and it was not wheelchair accessible.

Amazing scenery - Take motion sickness pill for mountain road if you are sensitive. Weather is much cooler on the top ~2200m - and definitely if it is cloudy.
Be ready to sit in the bus ab 4 hrs on one direction.

Guide Did Not Show Up; No Effective Support Provided - Purchase Date: January 10

What Happened:
We arrived on time at the designated meeting point provided by the tour operator: Exit 7 of the high-speed train station. Upon arrival, no tour guide or representative was present at the location.
We immediately contacted TripAdvisor support through the in-app chat to request assistance. The support agent instructed us to call a phone number. We explained that we did not have an international phone plan and could not make international calls. We asked for an alternative way to contact the guide.
The agent then told us to contact the tour operator via WeChat, an app we did not have installed. We informed them that we did not use WeChat and could not download or set it up at that moment. The response we received was that they could “only wait five more minutes” and would otherwise leave without us, despite the fact that no guide was visible at the meeting point.
After that message, there was no further assistance from the TripAdvisor chat, and the tour did not occur
