Grand Teton National Park - The full-day Grand Teton National Park tour will begin close to sunrise to maximize the hours of the day when wildlife is most active. Your naturalist guide will seek out wildlife hotspots, often off the beaten path on unmarked dirt roads in our comfortable 4wheel drive safari vehicles. Make use of our Swarovski spotting scopes and binoculars to view the daily habits of local fauna, including moose, elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans.
After a morning session of uninterrupted wildlife observation, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch, then we’ll continue to explore the natural landscape of the park and if desired by the group, we’ll embark on a short walk, along easy terrain, to observe the smaller wonders of this park. Make sure to pick your expert guide’s brain on topics like animal behavior, animal adaptations, the geology of the area, local botany, and the cultural history of this special place.

Excellent tour of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park - My Aunt and I had great tours with Karl in the 8 hour Grand Teton Tour and the full day Yellowstone Tour. We were able to see a grizzly bear, moose, bison, mule deer, pronghorns and more. We saw Old Faithful erupt and enjoyed looking at the geothermal pools. Waterfalls along the trip were beyond breathtaking. I highly recommend EcoTours and Karl.

Fantastic unforgettable - Sarah e. Was our guide and she was amazing,
She is so knowledgeable and so engaging.
She was easy to be with and had a vast understanding of all forms of wildlife.
She explained to our kids how to exist with the animals and not to intrude on them. Highly recommend her as your guide.

San Antonians in Wyoming - Karl Schmidt was our guide along with Ashley. They were both extremely knowledgeable and excellent guides. The lunch was delicious too. Overall an outstanding experience!

Amazing experience - Our Guide, Sarah, did an amazing job bringing us to the areas where the wildlife were. Without her and the equipment Ecotours has we would not have been able to capture the wildlife photos we did. She was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and area. We had an amazing time!

Highlight of our vacation - Wow! We had an incredible experience with Sage. We saw so many Grizzlies (including cubs) and black bears, along with elk, bison, coyotes, pronghorn sheep (Sage’s favorite!) and more. It was so great to have a guide with a true science background who could answer our questions. Sage also took us on a beautiful hike and, in a different area, we came across hundreds of bison running full speed!. The tour was the highlight of our trip.

Best tour group out there! - I would give 6 stars if it was a choice. We had Laura and Ashley who were well versed in the history of the Grand Tetons. Laura had an eagle eye for spotting wild life and we had top of the line equipment to view our finds. Ashley was a wealth of knowledge on tribe history in the area.
The next day we took a 12 hr excursion to Yellowstone with Nick. He was excellent in finding us 7 grizzlies! He also was a wealth of knowledge on geology and wildlife habits. His focus was on ensuring we had a memorable day and he succeeded!
All three guides spoke highly of the founder and the company. Eco Adventures is DEFINITELY the top notch tour company to choose!

Repeat customers. Best Day of both trips was the day spent with JH Ecotours - I was lucky enough to find this company on my first trip to Wyoming in 2021. When my second trip rolled around 3 years later, I didn’t even consider booking with another company.
I (41F) traveled with my parents (mid 60s) and my children (16, 11 yo) for the all day adventure with our guide Raf. He adjusted our route/plans based on our goals, which was primarily wildlife. Before he picked us up, he already had information on morning animal activity locations. We had close encounters with big horn sheep, and saw bison, moose, elk, bald eagles, and more. He captured great photos and video for us.
We had lunch at Signal Mountain Lodge and began our snowshoe adventure. Raf adjusted the pace to accommodate our crew. We had breathtaking views of the lake and ventured out where it appeared our only company was the winter creatures, but we were never that far from the vehicle. Our guide was very knowledgeable about not only the animals, but the history of the area. He shared my daughter’s love of photography and accommodated her requests as well.
When my next trip comes do, I’ll book with them again.

Great experience! - Billy was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable and engaging. He also captured our tour experience through photography, sharing those with all of us. He did a great job locating all the wildlife. And we would highly recommend him.

Exceeded All Expectations for Wildlife and Geysers Viewing - Our group of 7 started the day up close to a herd of Bison, and it only got better. Our guide, Sarah Ernst, has an amazing knack to find wildlife every where. We stopped many times throughout the day to see Bison, Moose, Elk, Grizzly, Eagle, and a porcupine. The vans with the pop up tops which allow you to take photos and video from the vehicle is the perfect way to view. We watched Old Faithful blow and toured the paint pots and surrounding geysers. And Sarah shared her experiences and stories which were educational and entertaining. The tour did a great job keeping us fed with drinks, snacks, breakfast and lunch the entire day. Highly recommend this company for tours of the parks.

Terrific tour by Billy - We had an amazing tour with Billy on Saturday Oct. 5th. We did 3 private tours while in Wyoming with 3 different companies and this one with Billy was by far the best. He is relativiely new to the company but is extremely knowlegable and well read about the area. He said the company requires guides to do a large amount of reading before being hired. He was terrific at sharing his knowledge on our 8 hour tour. Plus Eco tours had numerous guides out that day and they all communicate with each other. We were able to see Grizzly 610 right at the start of the day due to this communication network. Then he took us to all the areas we had not seen and shared a lot about wildlife and history in the process. I can not recommend this company and particulary Billy's guide services more highly.
