The original owner was Juan Lencero, a soldier under Hernan Cortes.
• Xico - Explore the 16th-century Parish of Mary Magdalene, featuring a neoclassical facade, and visit the Patio de las Palomas (Pigeons’ Patio), which showcases a collection of over 400 beautifully embroidered dresses of the patron saint Magdalene of Xico. If visiting in July, the facades and streets will be adorned for the patron saint festivities.
