- Shuanglin Temple - Upon arrival at Pingyao Railway Station, look for your name, meet your tour guide and driver at the exit. Then head to Shuanglin Temple, a large Buddhist temple in the Shanxi Province of China. Founded in 6th century, it is notable for its collection of more than 2,000 decorated colorful clay statues, reflecting the exquisite skills of the artisans of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Ancient City of Pingyao in 1997.
- Ancient City of Pingyao - After Shuanglin Temple visiting, stop for a local lunch. Then continue to Pingyao Ancient City, founded during the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046 – 771 BC) and rebuilt in 1370. It is nowadays one of China’s four best preserved old cities together with Lijiang Old Town, Huizhou Ancient City and Langzhong Ancient City.

Pingyao Railway Station Wenxunchu - After the tour, you will be transferred back to Pingyao Railway Station to catch your train back to Xi’an (train departs at 6:18pm). Your driver will meet you at Xi’an Railway Station and transfer back to your Xi’an hotel.
