• Tang Dynasty Show - The Empress of the Great Tang is a captivating Tang-style performance featuring song and dance, held at the Tang Dynasty Palace in Xi’an. Tickets can be booked to experience the ancient etiquette, ceremonies, music, dance, and other cultural aspects of the Tang Dynasty, as well as to learn about the significant activities of Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history.
• The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - To avoid the crowds, at 8:00 a.m., your tour representative and personal driver will greet you warmly with a welcome sign at your hotel lobby. After the greetings, you will head to the renowned Terracotta Army and Horses Museum. By 9:00-9:20 a.m., you will arrive at the museum and embark on a fascinating journey into the Qin Dynasty. From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., your private tour guide will accompany you to each pit of the museum, sharing the stories and legends of the First Emperor in Chinese history. You will witness the formation of his magnificent mausoleum and be astounded by the ancient intelligence.
• Huaqing Palace - This palace has served as the imperial Winter Palace for over 3,000 years due to its natural hot springs. Five bathing pools from the Tang Dynasty are still preserved here. Visitors can admire the Tang Dynasty architecture, beautiful bonsai, plants, ponds, and landscape compositions. Additionally, the bullet holes from the Double-Twelve Incident in 1936, a significant event in China’s modern history, can be seen here.
• Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is situated in the Da Ci’en Temple (Great Mercy Temple) and boasts a history of over 1,300 years. It was once the site where the renowned Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang (Tripitaka) translated Buddhist scriptures, marking the beginning of Buddhism’s spread in China.
• Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - When visiting the Ancient City Wall, there are several options available. You can choose to walk, ride a bike, or even take a golf cart. This City Wall is the best-preserved and most complete wall that has survived throughout China’s extensive history. It stands about 12 meters high, 12 to 14 meters wide at the top, and 15 to 18 meters thick at the base. The entire circumference is approximately 13.7 kilometers, so walking the entire length may take some time.
