The large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations represent the imperial guard troops of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China.

Terra Cota - The experience was great. Our guide was knowledable, helpful and nice. He also helped us to see the exhibit by taking the time we needed

Perfect tour - We did the tour with Mr Wang and we absolutely recommend it!!! The visit was very interesting and enriched by Mr Wang with stories about warriors, the museum and many other curiosities! Our guide was outstanding, helpful and we could not wish for better tours!

Very impressive tour with excellent guide! - Very experienced guide who has told us a lot about the discovery, restoration work and significance of the images. Also visited the museum which is definitely worth it!

Go early beat the crowds - What an amazing trip Roger was our guide and he was excellent. Picked us up from our hotel and guided us smoothly through all the checks and security with ease, going really early as he recommended was brilliant we were right at the front of the queue and managed to get great views, it did get very busy so be prepared for crowds but it’s well worth. We were planning on doing a self guided tour but ended up going for a private tour so glad we did it made the experience even better.

Great guide - Alice was the perfect guide for us, we wanted assistance with tickets and the best way to see the many different dig areas, but we didn’t need transport or to see any other attractions. She is knowledgeable and presented the site in a very clear way, and was able to answer our questions, even when they were about other periods of history. Lunch was optional, which we appreciated, but the place she recommended was delicious and reasonable. The tour company provided excellent communication and easily helped us reschedule when we had a change of days. This place is huge, chaotic, crowded, and I could see having a bad time visiting and missing things if you came on your own. . We are very happy we chose to book with this company, our experience was outstanding!

Well organized tour with knowledgeable guide - fully recommended - We took the afternoon tour of the Terracotta Warriors museum as a family of four. Our guide Freya was very kind and knowledgeable. She helped us navigate through the afternoon crowds and provided a lot of information and explanation about the exhibits and the pits. She answered any questions we had and she also contacted us after the tour with further details about a question we had asked her earlier.
At the end of the tour we also had the chance to meet one of the farmers who discovered the site 50 years ago. It was a great experience for our family and we fully recommend this operator and Freya the guide to anyone visiting Xian and the Terracotta Army museum

Afternoon at the Terracotta Warriors led by Freya - you can’t miss this! - I had a truly exceptional afternoon tour of the Terracotta Warriors, made even more memorable thanks to Freya — one of the most friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging guides I’ve ever met. Due to some travel complications, I arrived late and was the only guest in the group that day, but Freya couldn’t have been more understanding and gracious.
She delivered a thorough, insightful, and well-structured explanation of the Terracotta Warriors exhibit, and her passion for the history of the site was both evident and contagious. She was also incredibly approachable and happy to answer any additional questions I had throughout the visit.
If I ever return to Xi’an, I would 100% want Freya as my guide again. Her depth of knowledge and thoughtful approach to the tour made it a standout experience. Absolutely a 10/10 — I highly recommend booking this tour if you’re visiting Xi’an!

Excellent Tour in a Disappointing Venue - The tour guide, Wang Kei, was very knowledgeable, and a friendly man who guided us expertly for two hours through the museum. The only downside was the museum itself--our guide says 20,000 people per day enter the museum, which makes it one of the most over-touristed sites in the world. It is hard to feel connected to these relics when hundreds of other people are crushing you in an effort to get the perfect photo.

It was an incredible... - It was an incredible experience. My guide AURORA was great. Patient, clear explanations. Good recommendations. I hosnestly loved spending afternoon with her. Terraccota soldier's were magnificent. Impressed by the good preservation aspect despite the centuries. Well done.
