Awesome food tour! - We had an incredible food tour in Xi’an with our guide, Michael, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Michael was not only friendly and welcoming, but also deeply knowledgeable about the local cuisine and its cultural roots. He took us through the vibrant Muslim Quarter and beyond, introducing us to an amazing variety of dishes—many we’d never heard of before. From hand-pulled biangbiang noodles to crispy roujiamo (Chinese-style burgers), and other unique delicacies, every stop was thoughtfully chosen and absolutely delicious. Michael explained the history and ingredients of each dish, which gave us a whole new appreciation for the rich culinary traditions of Xi’an. He also made sure to cater to everyone’s tastes and dietary preferences, and his warm, easygoing personality made the tour feel more like a walk with a local friend than a formal guide experience. If you're a food lover visiting Xi’an, we highly recommend booking a tour with Michael—you won’t be disappointed!
