The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Your driver will meet you in the lobby of your Kunming hotel and transfer you to the airport for your 2.5-hour flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, your local guide will be waiting for you at the exit of the arrival hall with a sign displaying your name.

On the way to the city, collaborate with your knowledgeable local guide to tailor your sightseeing itinerary. This personalized 2-day tour offers 6-8 hours each day to explore the city’s highlights. If you decide to end your tour in Xi’an, your guide and driver will drop you off at your Xi’an city hotel’s lobby. If you return to Kunming, your driver in Kunming will pick you up from the airport and transfer you back to your hotel.

Typically, you will begin with a visit to the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors Museum, known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.” The museum is divided into three sections: No.1 Pit, No.2 Pit, and No.3 Pit. The original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974 and has since become the most significant attraction in Xi’an. Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, perhaps visit the 600-year-old Xi’an City Wall. It stretches about 14 kilometers and is considered the best-preserved and longest city wall in China. Ascend to the top of the centuries-old wall and admire the views of the city below.

Muslim Quarter - Afterwards, head to the Muslim Quarter, the center of the Muslim community in Xi’an City. Follow your tour guide to explore the Muslim food and souvenir market.

After the tour concludes, you will be transferred to your hotel in Xi’an.

Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) - You can also choose to visit the Tomb of Emperor Jingdi, a joint mausoleum of Liu Qi (188-141 BC), the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, and his wife Empress Wang. The Mausoleum of Emperor Jingdi was excavated in 1972. Explore the museum with your tour guide to see the tomb section where 5,000 figures were discovered and the museum section, which has been modernized with a heated glass wall and tunnel.
