The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - As a former capital of China, Xi’an was the seat of the Chinese Emperor for over 10 dynasties spanning 1,000 years. On this full-day, 8-hour private tour, you will visit one of Xi’an’s highlights, the thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors in the impressive mausoleum museum. Visiting the Terracotta Warriors and Horses is a highlight of any Xi’an tour, offering a chance to see more than 8,000 life-size Qin Dynasty-era model soldiers. Discovered in 1974, the warriors are located east of Emperor Qin Shihuang’s Tomb, where the first unifier of China is buried. Among the three pits, Pit No. 1 is the largest, containing over 6,000 clay warriors and horses in 11 three-meter deep corridors. Since their discovery, the warriors have captivated the world’s imagination, traveling globally from England to America to Chile. The warriors and horses are now back in China, displayed in an oblong battle formation of the Qin Dynasty. Facing east, they appear healthy and determined, with varied facial expressions reflecting Emperor Qingshihuang’s resolve to unify the country. Travel from Xi’an City with a private guide for an intimate view of this magnificent exhibition, with personalized attention and the best local knowledge available.
Shaanxi History Museum - Then, transfer to the Shaanxi History Museum, regarded as ‘the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures’, offering a miniature overview of thousands of years of Chinese history and splendid ancient cultures.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - After lunch, transfer to the Wild Goose Pagoda. As a symbol of ancient Xi’an, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda (also known as Big Wild Goose Pagoda) is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xi’an City, about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from downtown.
Xi’an - At the end of the day, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.

Xi’an Banpo Museum - First, visit the Banpo Village Museum, the largest and best-preserved Neolithic Yangshao cultural village site in China. It is China’s first Neolithic site museum and a national key cultural relics protection unit, featuring three parts: Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall, the Hall of the Banpo Sites, and the Auxiliary Exhibition Hall.
Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) - Next, visit the Hanyangling Mausoleum, the shared mausoleum of Jingdi, the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, and his empress Wang. They have separate graves inside. Admire the terracotta figurines carved as servants, riders, and domestic animals, and view the excavation pits containing hordes of half-hidden statues and crockery through glass floors.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, transfer to the city wall. You can walk or cycle around the wall, with bike rental fees paid locally if you choose to cycle. Muslim Quarter - Finally, transfer to the Muslim Quarter. As its name implies, the Muslim Quarter, also known as Huimin Jie in Pingyin, is the hub of the Muslim community in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province.
