This is the largest and most well-preserved imperial palace complex from the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911 AD), boasting 9,999 rooms! Spend approximately three hours exploring the main buildings along the central axis, which divides the entire compound into two symmetrical halves. After the tour, you will find yourself near the North Gate of the Forbidden City. You can choose to leave with your guide or use your ticket to stay longer and explore the Imperial Garden for more photos. Cafes and Beijing snacks are available in the surrounding area, so you can enjoy lunch here before continuing your exploration. Your tour guide will let you know how to do it and give you cash.
