Great breakfast tour - We had a great breakfast tour with Li. We ate delicious and varied street food that we watched being prepared. Li also showed us some fascinating areas in the French concession and had excellent knowledge about their history. It was a very entertaining start to our day.

Eat breakfast like a local. - in town cisiting my son at NYU Shanghai. Another parent recommended this tour. Such a great experience lining up with locals grabbing breakfast at several different locations and in between learning about the French Concession neighborhood history.

Delicious and insightful food tour in Shanghai - We had a great time on the tour with Rachel. The food stops were small places in the Former French Concession neighbourhood busy with locals and all delicious. We really liked visiting the wet market and seeing the locals get their ingredients. We also enjoyed learning more about life in Shanghai and the bits of information about the history of the area. Would highly recommend the tour!

Great mix of food and history - This was my second tour with UnTour during our visit to Shanghai, and it was even better than the (fantastic) night tour. I was fortunate to have Hope as my guide again this time and she was great. It was so much fun sampling all of the breakfast choices, many of which I probably wouldn't have tried without Hope's expert guidance. Loved everything, but especially the scallion pancakes, the Jianbing, and the yeasted scallion bread. If you like carbs this is the tour for you!
What really set this tour above others (in addition to the food) was the exploration of the neighborhood in between food stops. Hope took me down tiny alleys I never would have seen and explained so much about the history of the former French concession, its architecture and current life there. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

Yummy local breakfast tour on foot in a nice area of Shanghai - Rachel was our English speaking tour guide and delivered great information regarding the area and introduced us to yummy local foods. I highly recommend taking this 3 hour tour so you can see the neighborhood and eat so much that you will be able to skip lunch. Thank you.

Amazing food tour - We had such a wonderful time on this breakfast tour with our guide Li. He spoke perfect English, and was super funny, entertaining and knowledgeable about Shanghai. He took us to all the best food spots and we ate until we were close to bursting. Could not recommend this tour more, would absolutely do a tour through this company again. I have done food tours all over the world, and this was easily one of the best!

- Hope Zhang was a great guide. Not only were the food choices amazing but we also got a walking tour with lots of historical information and fun facts. Hope also took into account dietary restrictions and allergies which was really nice. I highly recommend.

Great local food, friendly guide - My friend and I had a great time in this tour with Topher. He is knowledgeable about not only the food but how Shanghai has changed over the years. Absolutely loved going to smaller local family-owned establishments and getting a feel of the every day and food culture. There is something for everyone on this tour and you will be comfortable o this tour even if you aren’t an adventurous eater. Highly recommend!
