French concession with Emma - An excellent tour where you’ll truly enjoy the local cuisine of Shanghai. Our guide was Emma, and she was simply amazing! She told us about all the dishes. Plus, she’s a great conversationalist and made sure no one got bored. So if you came alone—don’t worry!

A geart introduction into Shanghai - You will not leave hungry! Emma showed us some amazing places in the neighborhood. In addition to that we had some short walks in between the restaurants and a little tour through the area.

Fabulous Food Tour - An amazing way to spend an evening in Shanghai. Emma was incredible and made sure the vegetarian in our group was well-looked after with lots of dishes catered to him. Best dumplings of our lives! Everything was local and there was such great and interesting history about the area. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Shanghai!

Amazing Food Tour Through Shanghai - The tour was a really great experience. We as a group went to restaurants I wouldn't have visited due to the language barrier. Our guide Max did a great job in explaining the different dishes and telling us about the French Concession. I totally recommend this tour and this amazing guide.

Best 1st day activity - We had a blast! Wonderful introduction to the best of Shanghainese food from a super knowledgeable guide. Samantha was very welcoming and had such a good relationship with each place we visited she even scored us freebies, like an extra mango dessert, which was delicious.

Delicious and insightful! - Was fortunate enough to be on Max's first official tour with Emma there to oversee and even though I went alone I truly enjoyed everything I learned from the tour as well as the company of both the guides and the 3 other attendees. Walked, saw and learned a lot through the bylanes of the French Concession and ate delicious food along the way. The xialongbao, steamed dumplings with peanut sauce, crispy bottom dumplings and the dry noodles in scallion oil were some of the highlights of the tour! Cant wait to back in Shanghai to try the other tours they have available!
