Lovely Time - What a fun class! Yin was so welcoming and shared so much information about soup dumplings and guided us step by step how to make them. She was very helpful when I asked questions on how to better make the folds in the dough. She was also very thoughtful about giving instructions to the location and an overall amazing host. Thoroughly enjoyed our class.

Fabulous Chinese cooking class with Chinese culture sprinkled in - Highly recommend this Xiaolongbao soup dumpling cooking class! Chef Yin is an excellent cook who does a great job of teaching and providing hands-on cooking experience to participants. She is also engaging and personable and throughout the class, it was great to hear stories about China and Chinese culture and really get a deeper understanding of the country that we were visiting. Chef Yin can also customize cooking classes for you depending on what Chinese food you want to learn how to make, which is great because my son and husband like specific Chinese dishes that I can learn how to make.

A taste of authentic Shanghai - Yin is a fun, friendly and super skilled teacher who welcomes you in her lovely lane house in the heart of Shanghai. She will introduce you to the art of Chinese dumplings making (all explanations are in English) and you’ll spend a couple of hours trying to master this traditional technique and then enjoying the delicious dumpling you’ve prepared with your own hands! Absolutely great experience and nice opportunity to take a sneak peek into traditional Chinese cuisine. I’ve been there a few times and always loved it!

Juicy dumplings - We loved this soup dumpling workshop! Yin was so patient and guided us step by step in the process, and our dumplings all came out juicy and steamy. (I was a bit nervous because soup dumpling seem so delicate and I'm not much of a cook). She's very passionate about sharing Chinese cuisine and speaks good English. Also really enjoyed our small group and the cute lane house location in the former French concession.

A great time with Yin - We loved this cooking class (xiaolongbao) with Yin. It is really a great experience if you are in Shanghai and Yin speaks very good English which is a real plus. It’s both fun and you learn a lot about Chinese food and culture. The studio is very good too.

Amazing Dumplings!!! - Easy to get to instructions, to find the location. Super friendly lady. And some how myself and my girlfriend were able to make cute little looking dumplings that tasted incredible. We ate enough not to have lunch afterwards. Highly recommended!!!

Great experience - Super magical and fun experience!
Nice to talk and follow the workshop at the same time. We didn’t only learn how to make a pinched dumpling (not so perfect as Ing just yet..) but also talked about how things are in China compared to Europe and how it made me reflect
We had a nice small tea ceremony after we enjoyed our by our own hands made dumplings and learned about green tea and all its many different kinds and how to use and drink it. Perfect for vegetarians and vegans.
