The hike begins in the town of Ye, where you will start your ascent towards the crater of La Corona volcano. Along the way, you will be captivated by the breathtaking views of vineyards and the impressive lava fields, known locally as “malpaís.”
This hike offers the opportunity to explore not just one, but four volcanoes. La Corona is aligned with Volcán de la Cerca, Los Helechos, and La Quemada, which were likely active contemporaneously with La Corona. From the summits of these peaks, which rise over 500 meters, you will be treated to stunning vistas of both the eastern and western sides of northern Lanzarote.
After exploring the volcanoes, your guide will lead you to the highest point of the Famara Cliffs. These cliffs are a true natural marvel, featuring a rock wall that towers over 500 meters high and stretches more than 22 kilometers. As you walk along the edge, you will be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the Archipiélago Chinijo.
