Brilliant authentic experience - Brilliant authentic experience with our wonderful local guide Nalin. We visited local people in their businesses including Curd making, traditional pottery, honey making, salt farm plus a tuk tuk tour of Yala ,the lakes and surrounds with a local farmer. This was terrific and we loved what we saw . This is a large rice growing area. We saw buffalo ,peacocks, birds and plenty of cattle on the roadsides. The absolute highlight was being welcomed into Nalins home to how local people live and meet his lovley family. We enjoyed curd with the honey plus Nalin gave us freshly picked king coconut water from his garden and one of the best cups of ceylon tea I have ever had. I cannot recommend more highly this truly authentic tour with our guide Nalin as he made it even.more special for us.

Brilliant authentic experience ,highly recommended - We had a fantastic authentic tour with our guide Nalin who picked us at no 2 gate and off we went . We enjoyed all the activities which included visiting the curd maker, the honey maker ,the authentic pottery maker,the salt farm and our wonderful tuk tuk tour of Yala ,the lakes and surrounds with a local farmer. Just brilliant. This is a large rice growing area and we also saw peacocks, monkeys, buffalo and lots of cattle. However the highlight was going to Nalin"s home meeting his family and for them to allow us into their home. We shared curd, had king coconut and one of the best cups of tea we have had. This private tour is the real deal made even more special by Nalin. We highly recommend this wonderful experience.

Experience beyond my expectations! - Had a wonderful experience from the pick up point greeting make me feel more special. Tuk tuk ride is one of the best experience which was on my bucket list and they maid it more special. The village experience, live clay pot making, curd tasting, tea tasting experience is exceptional. Hats of to our guide romesh. This is one of the best experience which I will recommend for future travelers. Thank you very much for making a remarkable experience

Authentic Experience with Outstanding Service! - We had an incredible experience with Nalin, our car driver. He provided exceptional service by going above and beyond to retrieve a forgotten purchase and personally deliver it back to our ship. The tuk-tuk ride was another highlight—it offered us a genuine glimpse into everyday life, far from the typical tourist activities. It was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend this experience with Beyond Escapes for anyone seeking authenticity and top-notch service!

Hambantota Tuk Tuk Cruise Ship Excursion THE BEST!! - Great experience from start to finish! Our cruise ship docked in Hambantota and our tour guide, Manju, was on the pier to pick up our group of 8 ahead of schedule. The tour operator and Manju were prompt with communication, professional and polite. While I know you can't always pick your guide, Manju was amazing. His English is fluent and his knowledge of the area, history and sites made the experience even better. The 40 minute drive (in our private and very clean van) to Tissa was comfortable and easy. Our 4 TukTuk drivers were waiting for us and gave us a relaxing, educational and fun tour around town. We wanted immersive and that is exactly what this tour offers. Overall, GREAT experience! Thank you!!!

Very interesting and informative! - We had a delightful Tuk Tuk tour of the very interesting lake and water reservoir! The guide provided detailed English descriptions of the temples and landmarks. His English and driving was excellent! Note that it was a one hour bus ride to the Tuk Tuk in Yala.

Tuk tuk from cruise harbor to local village - Our driver (sorry forget his name) was fabulous. We told him we’d already been on a Yala and Udawalwa safari, so he stuck to the local sights, showed us fruit bats hanging in the trees and stopped at roadside stands so we could taste local fare: Roti & Dahl, Ceylon tea, chili cookies, curd from water buffalo milk sweetened with coconut honey (yummm so good) and lastly king coconut juice and the flesh (only grown in Sr Lanka) and corn on the cob. It took 3 transfers from safari jeeps to get to the tuk tuk, but it was so worth the trip. Felt completely safe and catered to, it was so great! Thank you to everyone involved!!

Rural every day village life tour. - Scenery & villages & local life were amazing & well worth going on this tour. Highly recommended for 4 hour tour. Tuk Tuk component was just great.

Overpriced - Was met by guide Mahesh on time. The vehicle was a minivan - should have been Tuk Tuks as per description.. We were advised that there would then be met by 2 safari jeeps to do the tour. After 2 1/2 hours this still hadn’t happened. We spoke to Mahesh who seemed confused! He then made a phone call and 1 jeep arrived which we continued the tour in. The 2 village visits to a locals house were interesting but we never got to do our souvenir pottery piece. The visits to the shrines were interesting. Mahesh did his best but did not pass on a great deal of facts about Hambantota so we came away knowing no more than when we arrived. It was certainly not worth the money.

Not good - We were going with 3 tuk tuk 6 (people ) ( that is not privat ) gid in our tuk tuk that wast Nice for the rest we did end feel a village atmosphere at all
