Depending on the season, continue the journey to Jogokudani Monkey Park by bus, or enjoy a tranquil walk to the entrance during the winter months. Inside the park, witness the renowned red-faced Japanese macaques as they relax in the steaming hot springs, a behavior they adopt to keep warm in the cold temperatures.
Explore the snow-covered landscape, but remember to respect the monkeys’ space while taking photos of the peaceful setting. Afterward, return to the bus for the journey back to Shinjuku.
