Village of Love Tours will meet at the BTS station “Saphan Taksin” exit 2, near the main river pier and park. If arriving by boat, follow the covered walkway towards the BTS station and you will find your guide waiting near the bottom of the stairs.

Taste the real Bangkok! - Great way to experience the city and really taste the culture. Our guide even went out of her way to help once we got stuck in Bangkok traffic on the way to the meeting point.

Great local food tour - We had a great food tour with our guide Ohm. He was very knowledgeable and he explained a lot about local food. Our favorite was the roti with pandan with banana inside. Food was delicious, we were very happy with our experience.

Fantastic introduction to Thai Food in Bangkok - Excellent food tour with Taste of Thailand Food Tours. Pat, our guide was great, very informative and we tasted a variety of dishes. It gave us an insight into the many different cultures that have influenced Thai cuisine. The only down side was we ate too much!! Do not have lunch before this tour!

An enjoyable taste of Bangkok - Ohm was an excellent guide. His English was impeccable (he had a scholarship to study in USA for a year) and he patiently taught us a few words of Thai as we went along. He explained about the dishes, snacks, fruit and drinks that we tried (and sheltered us from the showers with his umbrella!) and told us about the Bang Rak area and something of the history and customs of eating and drinking Thai style. We had more than enough to eat and drink over the course of the tour, having skipped lunch. We certainly could not have finished all of each dish. I am vegetarian and he ensured appropriate dishes were served so that I felt I was still getting a full experience, not just ‘with the meat left out’. My only reason for not giving five stars is that in my communication with Taste of Thailand before booking I had said that we wanted a tour where were part of a small group rather than just a private tour for the two of us. Perhaps some people would feel that the fact there were only the two of us with our own guide was a ‘bonus’ but we like the opportunity to meet other people and not be the sole focus of attention. It would have been courteous, I think, to let us know in advance that there were no others booked on the tour, but of course this is a management issue, and in the end Ohm put us at our ease and ensured we had a pleasant and relaxed evening.

Scandalous! A complete waste of time. - I booked a tour, followed all the instructions, and yet the guide never showed up. It was my last evening in Bangkok, and I wasted hour waiting for someone who never appeared. They offered was a refund—which doesn't help after losing an entire evening. This is a total scandal. My time was wasted, and my last night in Bangkok was ruined. I will never use their services again and warn everyone to stay away from this company Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide , Operated by: Taste of Thailand

No show, very poor sevice. - Nobody turned up for the tour, we waited at the appointed meeting place for half hour, the guide bid not turn up..... We have tried to contact the operator without success. We have contacted our bank to have the payment cancelled and the funds returned! This is the second time we have had an issue with Viator, we will not be using them again. We strongly recommend others do not book this tour or us Viator!!!!
