• Imjingak Tourist Information Center - This is the essential stop for obtaining DMZ tour tickets! Additionally, visitors can view a derailed locomotive from the Korean War, the Bridge of No Return where prisoners were exchanged, or ascend to the top of the building to enjoy the view of Imjingak Peace Park.
• DMZ - This tour includes a visit to the DMZ, the Third Tunnel dug by North Korea for a surprise attack after the Korean War, and the Dora Observatory, where you can see North Korea, including Gaeseong (the third largest city in North Korea), the Gaeseong Industrial Complex, a North Korean village, and the Demilitarized Zone with the naked eye.
• The Third Tunnel - This infiltration tunnel was dug by North Korea after the Korean War. Visitors can actually enter the tunnel!
• Dora Observatory - Here, you can view North Korea with the naked eye! Binoculars are available to see North Korean soldiers and civilians through the DMZ. Additionally, you can see Gaeseong city, the third largest in North Korea.
• Mangbaedan - This is where families separated after the Korean War come to visit, missing North Korea, their hometown. This is the reason Imjingak Peace Park was established.
• Bridge of Freedom - The Freedom Bridge is located at Imjingak Peace Park. Before entering the DMZ, visitors will explore the park. The tour guide will explain all the historical sites and landmarks.
• Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge - This suspension bridge at Mt. Gamaksan was a fierce battlefield during the Korean War. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Korean forest. This visit is optional when choosing the DMZ + Suspension Bridge tour.
• Kwangjang Market - One of the drop-off locations. This local market offers a vibrant atmosphere with a wide variety of Korean street food, known for its food market with over 120 street food options! It was a filming location for the Netflix series “Chefs on Street.”

  2. Beef tartar, live octopus, tteokbokki, sundae, gimbap, etc.
  3. Famous dumplings, dumpling soup, and noodle soups are also excellent here!
• Tongilchon-gil - This is one of the actual villages in the Civilian Control Zone, where locals reside. We will stop here for a rest before returning to Imjingak Park by government-run coach. You can find unique products from this village, as well as toilets and cafes. It’s not a compulsory shopping stop. We must follow the driver’s orders (working for the military based in the DMZ) and stop at three places during the tour.
• Hongdae - Hongik University Station - A popular place to shop and experience youth culture, with plenty of karaoke rooms, clubs, shopping, food, and street performances!
• Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) - One of the drop-off locations. DDP is a great place to explore, and it’s also next to Dongdaemun Gate and the ancient wall, perfect for a walk. It’s close to Dongdaemun Market, where you can enjoy local food.
• Myeongdong Shopping Street - A must-visit shopping street in Seoul! It offers a wide variety of street food and shopping options. It is one of the drop-off locations.

After being picked up at the meeting point, travel to Paju, Imjingak Peace Park.

In the park, you can see: the Bridge of No Return, a derailed locomotive from the Korean War, Manbaedan ancestral ceremony site, Freedom Bridge, and more.

Optionally, there is an opportunity to meet a North Korean defector at the park.

Once the tour guide secures the tickets, you will visit 3 to 4 locations on the DMZ tour bus by entering the civilian control zone.

3. Unification Village: Purchase DMZ souvenirs.

After the DMZ tour, visit the Suspension Bridge at Mt. Gamaksan and the North Korea Museum, where you can take fun photos in a North Korea-themed photo booth.
