• Yangon City Hall - The meeting point is in front of Immanuel Baptist Church, originally constructed in 1830, with the current structure dating back to 1885. It is located opposite Yangon City Hall.

At 09:00, the heritage walks commence at YANGON CITY HALL, situated in the heart of the colonial-era city. Nearby is the former Immigration Department, originally designed in 1910 to be the country’s premier department store, Rowe & Company. The walk proceeds to the High Court, a 1911 brick building designed by architect John Ransome. Continue along PANSODAN STREET, admiring the impressive colonial architecture, and stop at HLA DAY, a non-profit social enterprise shop offering high-quality contemporary and traditional handicrafts from local producers who often face challenges such as disability, exclusion, and poverty. The shop features colorful women’s and children’s clothing, soft toys, stationery, jewelry, homewares, and more. Continue to Strand Road, home to the three-story former New Law Courts. The next stop is the 1916 Custom House, a large building with an elegant white tower and a double-faced clock above the entrance. Walk past the red brick General Post Office to the luxurious Strand Hotel, built in 1901 by the Sarkies brothers, Armenian hoteliers. Also, experience the vibrant life at the NANTHIDA JETTY.
