Open to the public, visitors can explore the hanok and its gardens. Some sections offer traditional cultural experiences and photography opportunities.

  Gangneung is celebrated as the birthplace of Korea’s modern coffee culture. In the 1980s, the area was filled with instant coffee vending machines. By 1998, local baristas and roasters began opening cafes, introducing hand-roasted, specialty coffee to the region. Today, numerous cafes along the street roast their own beans, offering unique blends and brewing techniques.
