Yellowknife Airport - Our driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign that says “Welcome Aurora Tour VIP.” We offer airport pickup service 24/7, so please ensure you provide us with your flight number. We will be at the airport to meet you based on your flight’s actual arrival time. After you collect your luggage, we will guide you through the supermarket and restaurants, showing you how to walk there before taking you to the hotel for check-in. We will then transport you to either Chateau Nova or Explorer Hotel.

The vehicle space is limited, and the temperature in Yellowknife is very low during winter, making the vehicle interior cold and uncomfortable. Passing vehicle headlights can cause significant light pollution.

City Tour - (Optional Activity) - Aurora Viewing Aurora Lodge + Aurora Hunting

Bush Pilot’s Monument - You’ll see the lighthouse, which reminds people of the possibility of catching the aurora tonight, and we’ll stop at the Bush Pilots Monument to honor the heroic pilots.

Yellowknife Visitor Centre and Information - The Yellowknife City Tour includes the Welcome Monument, located near the airport where the first plane landed within the Arctic Circle. There’s a large “Welcome to Yellowknife” sign, a must-visit spot for photographs. Following this, we’ll take you to the Visitor Centre to receive a complimentary Yellowknife souvenir and a certificate.

Next, we’ll head to the entrance of the Ice Road (accessible in winter) where you can experience driving on ice over a meter thick. In March, we stop at the Ice Castle. The tour continues with a drive through the Old Town and the First Nations Reserve, offering a glimpse into the city’s history. Finally, we’ll reach the Pilot’s Monument, the highest point in Yellowknife, providing a panoramic view of the entire city. At the foot of the hill, you’ll find the renowned Bullock restaurant and the most affordable Canadian Goose shop. You can choose to spend some leisure time here or return to the hotel with our vehicle for rest.
