- Great Keppel Island Hideaway - Head over to Great Keppel Island for a day trip with our ferry company in conjunction with Great Keppel Island Hideaway & GKI Water Sports & Activities. Departing on the 9am ferry service over to the island, it’s a short 30 minute join to the main beach on Great Keppel Island. Please note, there is no jetty on the island so the ferry pulls in, ramp goes down and you disembark straight onto soft white sand - you may get wet feet! Upon arrival, head towards the Hideaway sign (look for the hula girls on the logo) and you’ll come to the GKI Watersports & Activities. This is where your choice of full day snorkel hire or 1hr SUP/kayak can be arranged. Carrying on up the sandy track, you’ll come onto the Hideaway’s lawn area - this is where your lunch and refreshment component are included, please note lunch hours are 11:30am-2pm. You departure from the island is 4pm.

Solo snorkel trip on keppel - I had a brilliant day trip on Keppel Island . As soon as the ferry dropped me off on the beach I had a short walk along the beach to the most perfect snorkelling location wi t h fish both big and small. access off the beach to the bommie where sting rays, squids and a turtle hang out. excellent experience. just carry a towel. my fins and a small lunch and I was made.

Day trip - On time leaving and returning. Easy to park nearby. Clean and tidy and very friendly staff. Could do with better signage to show where to book in but otherwise excellent.

Keppal connections were brilliant on the way back we had a young woman driving was brilliant thank you . - The trip over and back were great ,A young woman drove the Ferry on the way back was great to see she handled the ferry with ease.

Swimming in the beautiful Cristal
Clear water,walks on the beautiful white sand, looking at shells,just a lovely peaceful day would definitely recommend to anyone that loves all of the above.

Unforgettable - The whole day was amazing. Beaches are gorgeous, staff were friendly and accomadating. Snorkelling brilliant. Lunch was fantastic and overlooking the beach was amazing

Regular traveller, very happy with the service - I always use their return service Rosslyn to Keppel. They are punctual, flexible,
great service. On the last trip with my family the children were able to sit up front with the driver on the smaller vessel, the staff were so friendly.

Pretty good but don’t expect anything fancy… - Ferry staff were great. Included lunch was good.
Island amenities were very run down.
The ferry was old and in need of an upgrade.

Missing information- Otherwise nice - We really liked the tour. BUT: from the description it does not appear that to get to the beaches for snorkeling, at least. 20 minutes to go. This trail is only possible over a mountain that is not paved. Instead, the path is more like a little climbing: With very steep places with stones and roots. So: put on sturdy footwear / take it with you! Even on the beach itself you still have to swim a good 200m to see the reef. At lunch there was plenty of choice and it was delicious. In itself a nice excursion, but it has robbed us of a lot of strength due to the lack of information.
