Republic Square - The tour begins at the stunning Republic Square, leading through the city center and ascending the modern Cascades for breathtaking views of the iconic Mount Ararat. As the tour progresses, participants will uncover the rich, ancient culture of Yerevan, a city that has preserved its unique traditions despite numerous invasions. Strolling along Pushkin Street, visitors will explore 19th-century backyards, discovering historic wineries and dental clinics.
Throughout the walk, participants will gain insights into Armenian history, architecture, geopolitics, economy, geography, traditions, and religious history.
Vernissage Market - The tour includes a visit to the Statue of Garegin Nzhdeh, an Armenian national hero, where the geopolitical situation of Armenia will be discussed, along with significant historical events from the 16th century onwards. The tour continues through the Cultural Genocide Park, known for its Khachkars (Armenian cross-stones), and the Republic Square Metro Station, where the Armenian metro system will be explored.
Dolmama - Armenia’s Restaurant - The tour revisits 19th-century backyards, uncovering old wineries and dental clinics.
Dalan Art Gallery - Walking along Abovyan Street, the oldest street in Yerevan, built in 1856, the tour will pause to admire and discuss 19th-century houses and buildings, once profitable residences for wealthy Armenian merchants. Notably, the building of Egor Khanzadyan, a prominent Armenian merchant, constructed in 1895, will be highlighted.
The tour will also visit the hidden backyard of Dalan Art Gallery, which hosts jazz concerts and features open-air vine roofs.
Charles Aznavour Square - In this charming square, participants will see the “Grand Hotel Yerevan,” the oldest hotel in the city, opened in 1926 during the Soviet era. The hotel’s facade is adorned with black Armenian tuff stone.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try sea buckthorn juice, a traditional remedy and food used for centuries in China, Russia, and Northern Europe.
The Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan - The tour includes a visit to Swan Lake and the Opera House. The groundbreaking of the Opera-Theatre occurred on November 28, 1930, during the 10th anniversary celebrations of Soviet Armenia, and the building officially opened on January 20, 1933.

The Monastery of Geghard - Geghard is a medieval monastery in Armenia’s Kotayk province, partially carved out of the surrounding mountain and encircled by cliffs. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status.

Garni Temple - The Garni Temple, a first-century A.D. Graeco-Roman pagan temple, is likely dedicated to Mithra. Visitors may be treated to an impromptu choral concert by Armenian guests.
Day trip to Khor Virap, Areni wine village, and Noravank Monastery
Khor Virap - The monastery is set amidst lush pastures and vineyards in the Ararat plain, with a view of Mount Ararat. The Arax (or Arakas) River flows nearby, and the monastery is opposite Aralık, Turkey.
Areni Wine Factory - The “Hin Areni” winery is situated in Areni village, Vayots Dzor region. This area, particularly Areni village, has been the heart of Armenian winemaking for millennia. A 6,100-year-old winery was discovered in 2007 in Areni village.
Noravank Monastery - The monastery is renowned for its two-story Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) church. The gorge is famous for its towering, sheer, brick-red cliffs directly across from the monastery.

The monastery is on a peninsula on Lake Sevan’s northwestern shore. After the artificial draining of Lake Sevan during Joseph Stalin’s era, the water level dropped about 20 meters, transforming the island into a peninsula.
Dilijan National Park - The tour continues to Dilijan Nature Reserve, known for its oak and beech forests. Often referred to as Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by locals, it is one of Armenia’s most significant resorts. Sharambeyan Street in the center has been preserved and maintained as an “old town.”
