In the course of this daily wine tour, we will explore Vayots Dzor, Armenia’s wine region, taking in the magnificent sight of the biblical Mount Ararat along the way. The experience brims with fresh air, sweeping landscapes, and the charm of rustic hospitality. Tour stops include visits to Noravank Monastery, a winery within the Areni 1 cave that dates back 6,000 years, and a home-style lunch with local wine at a resident’s house in Areni village. The journey also features a visit to the grape vineyards of Areni hosted in Aghavnadzor village followed by a guided tour and taste-testing at the Old Areni winery. We reconvene in Yerevan at the end of the tour. The cost is per vehicle, accommodating anywhere between one and four passengers.
