An impressive tour - Great tour We were on the road today with our tour guide Jasmine, who already told us a lot about Armenia's history on the bus. The destinations are very impressive, be it the great view from the arch, the church rooms of the monastery carved into rock or the impressive temple of Garni. Seeing the lava baking up close was fun and we had enough time to eat in a restaurant right next to it. It was raining more and more, but the conclusion at the Symphony of Stones was still great. We can wholeheartedly recommend the trip. Stefanie with family from Germany

The tour was also very well organized with a nice lunch in the middle of the day. Really enjoyed the symphony and the lavash baking demonstration.

Tour Gegard, Garney, Symphony of Stones - Recently toured Armenia from OneWayTour company on the route Garney - Gegard - Symphony of Stones, and it was truly memorable. Even as an experienced traveler who has already seen dozens of countries and been on hundreds of tours, it is rare to experience anything truly new. Here, too, new emotions and impressions emerged literally every minute. Separately, I want to express my great gratitude to the guide Yegor. His professionalism, deep knowledge of history and theology made this tour truly special. It was thanks to Yegor that the trip became not just an excursion, but a living, fascinating immersion in the culture and past of the country. Honestly, this is the first time after all this travel I've felt like giving feedback and sharing my emotions 👍 I sincerely recommend this tour, and especially - accompanied by Yegor!

Yerevan: Garni, Geghard, Symphony of Stones & Lavash Baking with my family - During our visit to Armenia, one of the most memorable experiences my family and I had was a day trip from Yerevan that combined history, nature, and local traditions. The tour included several famous landmarks and even a hands-on cultural activity, which made the day feel both educational and fun for everyone. Our journey began with a drive out of Yerevan toward the ancient Garni Temple. The temple stands dramatically on a plateau overlooking a deep gorge, and seeing it in person was impressive. The structure looks very different from most Armenian religious buildings because it reflects classical Greco Roman architecture. Walking around the columns and taking in the wide mountain views was a great start to the day. My family enjoyed taking photos and imagining what life might have been like when the temple was originally built centuries ago. From there we continued to the nearby Geghard Monastery. The atmosphere here felt completely different. Parts of the monastery are carved directly into the mountain rock, which gives the whole place a mysterious and spiritual feeling. Inside the stone chambers the acoustics were incredible. At one point a few visitors softly sang a hymn, and the sound echoed beautifully through the walls. It was one of those quiet moments where everyone just stopped and appreciated the setting. Next we visited the remarkable natural formation known as the Symphony of Stones. The towering hexagonal basalt columns looked almost like a giant organ made of stone, which explains the name. Walking along the path at the bottom of the gorge with my family was relaxing, and the scale of the rock formations was even more impressive up close. It felt like nature had created its own architectural masterpiece. One of the highlights of the day was participating in a traditional lavash baking activity. We visited a local home where we learned how to make Lavash. Watching the dough being stretched and then slapped onto the hot walls of the clay oven was fascinating. We even got to try making some ourselves, which was both fun and a little challenging. When the fresh bread came out warm and slightly smoky, we ate it with cheese and herbs. Sharing that simple meal together felt authentic and welcoming. By the end of the day, the trip felt like a perfect mix of history, nature, and culture. Seeing ancient temples and monasteries, walking through dramatic landscapes, and participating in a local tradition gave us a deeper appreciation for Armenia. More importantly, experiencing it all with my family made the memories even more special. It was one of those days where every stop offered something unique, and by the time we returned to Yerevan in the evening, we felt like we had experienced a small but meaningful part of the country’s heritage. 🏛️🏔️🥖
