You will also visit Sevanavank, a monastery complex on Sevan peninsula. Currently a religious seminary functions here, which is not readily open to the public, the peninsula can be named the very point from where…
On this 9-10-hour tour visit Lake Sevan, pearl of this mountainous country and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. You will also visit Sevanavank, a monastery complex on Sevan peninsula. Currently a religious seminary functions here, which is not readily open to the public, the peninsula can be named the very point from where the whole beauty of the Lake Sevan is seen. You will then have a short stop in Dilijan town, otherwise referred to as “Armenian Switzerland” for its fantastic natural forests. The town is a part of Dilijan National Park. The next stop is Haghartsin, a 10th century monastery which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visited it. Goshavank is the final stop surrounded by green territories.

Perfect day tour with Karen and Aro in Armenia! - The tour with Karen perfect and well prepared! He was a nice guide. Thanks to him we understood better this beautiful country Armeinia and got important information about the places we visited! The driver Aro was also good and safe driver!

It was a beautiful day. - First time in Armenia, and immediately took the tour for 10 hours. Time flew by like a moment. Infinitely comfortable bus, the bus has air conditioning and WiFi. Locations are just crazy emotional. Nature is magical. And every location has plenty of time to wander around. You can even “be late” back
Guide Ike to each location tells beautiful legends and stories. And the way he reads poetry just touches his heart. There are also some delicious bonuses.
I also want to commend the professionalism of the driver of Spartacus. Despite the huge bus and numerous serpentines the ride was very comfortable. Professionalism in every corner.

Excellent tour with CSML summer school - The tour guide Raffi has excellent stories about the Armenians and Armenia. We enjoyed the trip with him. And the driver Spartak was professional.

Lake Sevan & Dilijan tour - Lake Sevan & Dilijan tour was a great trip, even though it’s about 8 hours you get to see about 3 monasteries, great nature views and a good lunch.

Top tour! - The tour to Sevan Lake , Dilijan and to some monasteries in the area with Hyur Service was excellent. Joseph was a very experienced driver and our guide Arpine was very knowledgeable with excellent language skills. Wifi is available on the bus, which I found very useful, plus free water and a small typycal cake is offered to the guests. The bus is big and comfortable. After this day tour with Hyur Service I was looking forward to the other tour I had with them, I immediately changed the reservation I had with another company and booked the same tour I was meant to do with the others with Hyur, plus I decided to on an extra day trip, always with Hyur of course! I warmly recommend this tour operator.

Beautiful and comfortable - Pros: Eduard was a great guide - communicative, knowledgeable, and relaxed. The bus was spacious and had wifi. Our bus driver Spartak was great. We had a good amount of time at each stop while Eduard was giving the tour to the Russian-speaking group.
Cons: If you want to spend some time in Diljan, this is probably not your best bet. We only did a quick walk through.

Two Amazing Tours with Hyur – Big Thanks to Sparta, Gayane & Karen! - I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Hyur Tours on two different days, and I genuinely can’t recommend them enough!
On June 7, I joined a tour with Gayane as our guide and Sparta as our driver. Everything was so smooth, organized, and enjoyable. Gayane was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and engaging — she made the day both fun and educational. Sparta drove us safely and comfortably the entire time, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. I even uploaded a group photo with everyone, including Gayane and Sparta — although sadly, I wasn’t in the picture because I was probably off taking selfies somewhere 😅
Then on June 8, I had another tour with Sparta again as our driver (what a pro!) and this time with Karen as the tour guide. Karen was just as amazing — friendly, well-informed, and passionate about sharing the beauty and history of Armenia. I really appreciated how both days had different vibes but were equally memorable.
Both tours were absolute highlights of my trip. The routes, timing, and service were perfectly handled, and the entire experience felt safe, seamless, and genuinely joyful.
If you're planning to explore Armenia, Hyur Tours is the way to go — and if you’re lucky enough to have Sparta, Gayane, or Karen on your trip, you're in for a truly fantastic experience!

Another great day tour from Yerevan! - This was my second tour with this company and it did not disappoint. It was on a BIG bus.
Guyane was our tour guide and she does such a good job organizing the large group and keeping us informed of the logistics. She also provides interesting and informative commentary about the regions we are travelling through and each of the stops we make. She is a kind soul and very diplomatic about some of the trickier political (like neighbouring Turkey & Azerbaijan).
Lake Sevan is gorgeous. The Monastery there is breathtaking with the lake in the background. The Dilijan region is also beautiful with tree covered mountains and a cooler climate. Both monasteries near Dilijan are stunning and definitely worth visiting.
Lunch was delicious and more than plentiful. I did not need dinner!
This is an excellent day trip from Yerevan and I highly recommend this professional company…they definitely think of everything a tourist/traveller might want (extra water, snacks, seat belts, Wifi on the buses, etc…). I also appreciate being sent the group pictures AND being able to store my luggage in the office while on the tour as I was switching accommodation that day.
