- Harichavank Monastery - Situated in the Shirak region on the northern slope of Mount Aragats, the Harich Monastery Complex features two churches: St. Gregory and St. Astvatsatsin, along with a vestibule, bell tower, depositories, chapel, school, and other structures. Although the exact date of the first church’s construction is unknown, wall inscriptions suggest it dates back to the 7th century. Harichavank was a significant educational hub, particularly thriving in the 13th century. It stands as a testament to Armenian medieval architecture and historical spirit. Notably, the renowned Armenian writer Avetik Isahakyan received his early education at the local school.
- Gyumri - As Armenia’s second-largest city, Gyumri, formerly known as Leninakan, Alexandrapol, and originally Kumayri, has been inhabited since the 3rd millennium. With a rich historical journey, Gyumri today showcases its Old Town, well-preserved in the city center. Each building in Gyumri tells a story, rich with Armenian medieval architectural essence. This tourist destination is appealing due to its stunning buildings, streets, churches, and its unique Gyumri atmosphere; Gyumri is renowned as Armenia’s hub of humor, arts, and crafts. The city tour includes the three famous churches of Gyumri and the Black Fortress.
- Black Fortress - Constructed from black stone, the Black Fortress is a defensive structure built in 1834 following the Second Russian-Persian War. Its drainage system, designed to protect the castle walls from rain, is particularly noteworthy. Now a tourist center, the Black Fortress serves as a reminder of its military history.
- Marmashen Monastery - On Saturdays, Marmashen Monastery is visited instead of Harichavank.

A tour not to be missed - You will be able to see a different glimpse of Armenia via numerous small villages to reach the monastery and ultimately you will arrive at a beautiful city. The guide Hayk was very informed and in perfect English informed about every aspect and driver Vahagn was very carefull. It is of great interest to try to see the Iron Fountain if you can walk which is far away from the centre and the Blue Iron Fountain which is close to the centre.

Well worth the time and money! - Overall a very full and enjoyable day. The tour shuttle was full and we didn't get very good seats, but really that was the only downside. The guide Hayk did a Great Job handling the tour in Armenian and English. The destinations were quite interesting and we felt that we had enough time in each place to explore fully. A very good sightseeing option at a very reasonable price!

Tour to Gyumri - The driver Artyom 5+
The guide Tigran 2-
Please take care of your guide's training. He is ignorant of Armenian church history and provides wrong information. And he provides either wrong or half done information on everything. Which is unacceptable because he introduces Armenia to foreigners and local people. Guide's job is a serious job. And they should be very well prepared.
