Embracing Tokyo - It was our pleasure to spend the day with our guide, Yoshi. We experienced “slices” of Tokyo at our own pace with our guide providing thoughtful and interesting commentary. We took the local trains and walked to the various sites. It was a great way to embrace the city.

Great Day in Tokyo - Great experience and the guide was excellent. He worked out a perfect schedule and was extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture. There is no way I could have done this in my own.

Tokyo tour from cruise ship - Communication with guide was exceptional leading up to tour. Answered all my questions and tailored stour for us and even met us at 2.30pm s that is when cruise ship arrived. I changed my mind so many times even on day and he was so patient. To top it off took us to an amazing ramen restaurant. Thanks.

Great day spent in Tokyo with Noripy! - My guide, Noripy, was absolutely lovely to spend a day with. She was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, and was really great to get to know and chat with as a solo person looking to see as much in a day as I could. She also taught me basics about navigating Tokyo and was very helpful for future ideas for sightseeing too. Overall, would highly recommend her to anyone!

Two Wonderful Days With Seizo - If you are looking for a guide to help you navigate Tokyo and Yokahama, Japan, look no further. You will not find a better guide than Seizo Kamiuto. We booked Seizo about two months before our trip. We corresponded back and forth about what we wanted to see. He offered us suggestions, and after we had reached an agreement, he met us upon our arrival at the cruise port of Yokohama and accompanied us by train to Tokyo. He was always punctual and dependable. He even took us back to the ship in Yokohama both nights that we were there. He was flawless in his ability to guide us through the east side and west side sights of the city on successive days. He is very knowledgable about Japan’s history, and his English is very good. He is also smart, savvy and experienced. He was able to give us the background of whatever we were seeing. He was incredibly helpful with the subway transportation system, which allowed us to navigate all its complexities without standing in lines or needing to study maps, etc. We whizzed through. The last thing we wanted to be doing was to drop time trying to find the right train or connecting train in our limited time there. Seizo was right there with us every step of the way. The full-day itineraries he carefully chose of various sights, gardens and museums were wonderful. If we wanted to do something slightly different he would present us with options of how to do those things instead of or in addition to what he had set. Seizo was helpful in so many ways on our two day stay. It would have been impossible to visit the number of excellent sights that we saw with a less experienced guide. He was sensitive to our needs and wishes. He provided historical contexts to what we were experiencing, and he shared with us the appropriate customs of his country, i.e., while visiting temples, shrines, and classic Japanese tea houses. Experiencing the culture and beauty of Tokyo was so easy, rewarding and easy with Seizo. We highly recommend him!

Get a Lic guide tour - First time in Japan and only had a day to spend in Tokyo before our cruise. Decided the best way to see the city was thru a private lic tour guide instead of wasting valuable time navigating the city ourselves. Best decision we ever made. Andy our tour guide was excellent. Andy was fluent in English and Japanese. He contacted us days before the tour with ideas on what we can see and then cater the tour to our preferences. On the day of the tour, he met us at our hotel and was there with us for a good solid 8 hours. He exposed us to the Tokyo transit system ( we would have been lost without him), saw many sites like Imperial palace , Tokyo Tower, Temples etc. Too many sites to mention. Andy provided us great background information on the history and customs of Japan and on the sites we visited. Had a great Japanese style lunch and got some shopping in. Overall we condensed a lot into 8 hours of touring with no wasted time getting lost if we had tour ourselves. Thank you to Andy for being such a great guide.

Tokyo Tour - We had a fantastic tour of Tokyo, and many thanks to our tour guide Seizo. He emailed me and we coordinated our itinerary with him well in advance, and we followed his recommendations, as well as added a few of our own ideas to come up with the perfect tour. His knowledge of Tokyo, as well as the mass transit system was commendable. He spoke great English and kept my wife and I entertained with numerous stories coupled with important historical facts. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Seizo as your guide.

Japan cruise - Chris was very personable and had a good understanding of the history and local cultures. There were many highlights including the Meiji Shrie and Shesoji temple.

Great One Day Highlights Trip - An gave us a great overview of Tokyo. We seamlessly moved through the city on subways and trains getting a good glimpse of Tokyo and Japanese history.

Couldn’t ask for a better tour! - Our intelligent well spoken guide was waiting for us in the lobby 15 minutes ahead of time. She navigated 6 of us using at least 20 different trains to bring us to several highlights of Tokyo. She even brought us to a fabulous sushi restaurant in the old fish market tour.
