Great experience, definitely recommend! - So fun - the two running this make it worth every penny! It is really interesting hearing about the darker history, and you get to see all around York. Only request would be to invest in a little card reader so we can leave tips at the end!

Extremely Funny Ghost Bus Tour - From start to finish this was amazing. Easy to book, found bus stop where bus departing very easy, friendly driver “Bob” and conductor “John Doe”. Tour started with interactive comedy. Interesting ghost stories. Wee walk at the shambles. Honestly one of the best experiences in York to do at night. Would definitely recommend

Give it a go - Loved the bus! We were expecting to see the elegantly dressed skeleton on board.....must have got off at the last stop. Frank Stein was our conductor with Bob at the wheel. It was light when we boarded the bus, by the time we were a ⅓ of the way round it was dark and this added to experience as the "table" lights came on. Very confident performance, learnt a little, would of liked more on the history facts but laughed loads. Everyone's face when we all had to get off the bus was priceless ! Very light hearted and fun. As a previous reviewer said, could do more with the visuals, but didn't spoil the enjoyment and would still go on it again. We're going to try the London one hopefully soon. As stated on the booking form only bottled water on the bus ,but people were on the cocktails in cans and beer, nothing said. If your stipulating a rule should at least follow it .

York ghost tour - Really enjoyed the knowledge of the city haunted locations. The conductor was a happy friendly guy. . Bob the driver was excellent at driving except when he started to sway the bus I felt a little quesy. But I must admit it was a great experience to do .

Ghost bus tour - An enjoyable evening but not if you are really interested in ghosts. More of a fun factor with a bit of history added. The conductor was fun but could have been much more atmospheric. Probably would have been better doing the walking tour. Some characters “jumping out “ in the shambles would have added to the experience.

Honest review - price value is fine - The bus looks cool and it was a nice way to end the day after a lot of walking. It is obvious the tour guides enjoy their jobs which was nice to see. It wasn’t super detailed compared to other walking tours and there was a lot of silliness but the jokes were well catered for families, occasional innuendos were funny and harmless enough. We did learn something new, we were entertained and price value is fine. Not the best best but has a lot of potential and we didn’t regret booking on

Avoid - Boring. Not much more to say! We’ve been in York for 3 days and participated in a few touristy attractions and this was the most boring event ever. I don’t understand why there are so many good reviews - it seems like we were on another trip. Definitely avoid!
