Would 100% recommend for both families & couples & singles - What an amazing experience! My partner and I had a wonderful time. Our guide remebered everyone's names and was so invitng and witty. She even sang my partner haply birthday at the end of the tour. Ended exactly on time.

What fun! We were... - What fun! We were exhausted from traveling and thought we might pass, but as soon as Alice started to speak, we were engaged. She was brilliant and the tour lots of fun as well as informative. Glad we stayed and so glad we booked. Highly recommend.

Mad Alice Gory Ghost Tour - Absolutely brilliant tour lead by Lady Beckett. She was very friendly and interested where people had come from. We were all impressed that she had learnt our names before she met us. Her knowledge was very impressive and she had very good humour. Liked how she interacted with everyone.

Brilliant, entertaining and thoroughly good fun! - Brilliant way to spend a evening! Funny, knowledgeable and very entertaining. We had Lady Peckett and she was a great laugh who held your attention and put you at ease from the very start! It was really good to hear the bloody history of York. Would highly recommend this tour as a good nights entertainment.

Not Mad Alice - We thought we had booked a tour with Mad Alice which had been recommended to us by friend who had been previously. Unfortunately we got Lady Peckett not Mad Alice which is what we had booked. So a bit disappointing and feel this should have been made clear that you may not get Mad Alice. So the Lady Peckett tour, interesting, informative, not as funny as we had been told the tour was,, but that may have been the difference between Alice and Lady Peckett.
