So good we’ve bought another already. - We live quite close to York and have visited many times. This was a great way to get a good walk round the city and see the sights on a freezing day. Stopped a couple of times along the way to warm up, although not at the pubs in the book (Blue Bell rather than Golden Fleece). It was a fun afternoon, we’ve just bought another for a trip to Newcastle.

Brand new Reading mystery adventure - Another brand new mystery adventure in Reading. We have never been to Reading before, so a whole new experience! We travelled by train, and as we came out of the station it began to rain :(. BUT, our first clue was in the pub right next door The Three Guineas, so a good place to shelter and contemplate our adventure. We always have a bet on who is the suspect and where did it happen , and loser buys tea!!!. It stopped raining and we set off. Again another great adventure, most of the clues were easy to find/follow, although clue 8 was tricky. We searched all round the park for a map that looked like the clue in the book, but, eventually we found it, it was in plain sight all the time, but you need to look very carefully at the map of the park!! It was a good adventure, fairly flat terrain, clues that made you think, but good ones. And we found out a lot about Reading too! We ended up at the last place where the Whip was kept and we found that easily. We stayed there and had a really nice tea, before we headed home. Unfortunately, we were both hopelessly wrong about the suspect and place where it happened ,so we tossed a coin to see who would pay for tea!!! lol !!

York - Great time walking round York to solve mystery and meeting people doing the same thing. But why put the answer on last page and then say submit answer to see if you have solved the clues?

A new way of exploring York - Although I had been to York a few years ago, the trail gave me a chance to explore the streets of York with a real purpose. The clues were fairly difficult at times but my daughter was able to quickly work out the answers. She has now ordered the London guide. It took us 3 hours but we stopped for coffee on the way. As there were five of us it was useful to take a photo of the page so that everyone had access to the clues.

Surprise for visiting friends from Scotland - Had already done the mystery and bought it for friends. Was fun to hear them bicker and disagree over clues while I knew the answers already. They loved it too! Doing Edinburgh in a few weeks. Well done team!
